CD I don't think we need look any further.

 

His legs have gone. His performance today was all about intelligence and technique.

 

Neither did Colchester , where did that long throw come from.

 

Good that’s just what was needed

 

We could argue we’re in a better position than we were in 2013

 

We had a better team in 2013, the cup run exploits had us further down the table than we should have been.

 

Fair play to Trueman/Sellars and the lads for mixing it up and getting a result.

Scales and Donaldson surprised me - both were excellent.

AOC looked out of place but its given Watt a much needed rest.

I think a better team would have beaten us today but we could only beat what was there so well done.

Having slated Cook for his tortoise pace, well done to him for bagging winner. Donaldson did brilliantly in the build up and should keep his place.

Watt in for AOC and maybe move AOC to RB.

GK remains an issue but, as ROD is skipper, he’ll keep his place.

One thing for sure Rowe on his sub appearance today won’t be winning his place back I thought we had signed a diamond but it must have been a fake

 

Yeah, he could only manage 88 minutes, we need more from him..

 

Don has been pants lately. Criticism of him was justified.

On the flip side, he can give it the brap braps tonight as he was the Don today. Hand in both goals. Excellent display.

 

On the basis of the game i agree that a better side would beaten us today but credit must go to picking Donaldson who had a decent game albeit against quite poor opposition. I liked the way they've stuck with Scales, the only way he'll improve is to give him as much game time as possible. Thought the defence was all over the place at times although could probably be attributed to an unfamiliar line up. Keeper position a bit of a conundrum.

Agreed, but with 10 games left and only 6 points behind, do we give up now?

 

He did show a nice turn of pace for the second, he burst forward like a proper winger and delivered a great cross.

His touch was also good today, where earlier this season his legs were everywhere and his control has been largely poor.

Credit where credit's due, though, they've dropped him into an attacking midfield role and he's had a very good game today.

 

How disappointing was Evans once again. Keeps giving the ball away, out of position, offered nothing forward. Has he got another year on his contract?

 

He's not comfortable in a more central role. He's not comfortable holding and passing the ball in tight spaces. He goes for the easiest pass not the best pass.

Problem is, I'm not sure what the best position is for him.

Wonder why it's his only good match of the season tho be interesting (if selected) to see if he reverts back to type

 

There was one instance near the end when he just stood still and their player nicked the ball off him.So frustrating
