Sign of the times mate. On paper this is a 0 - 2 to us. But given Colchester's recent steady nose dive and draw last time out, would not be surprised if our long standing knack of providing the fodder for a turnaround means another uncomfortable exposure and battering.

Hope you\re wrong Bear. But yes, I share that same quivering worry about us at the moment. T&S have done a great job in many ways, but I sense that a lot of teams have 'found us out' and know how to play us now.

Seems the only ones that have not realised is T&S,

It would be madness if the wolves were at the door if we don't win. It's crazy to think we can only live in the moment, result by result. We have to look forward, put foundations in place. Three points at Colchester would be bloody great, but let's look at the build over the next few years for City. That's far more important. We have a team in place that I have more faith in than any for bloody years.

Bit of info on Colchester, just one win in over 20 matches -feel confident of getting something on Sat?
Carlisle and Scunny were struggling and then they got to play City.

Try and get on the front foot tomorrow City, nothing much to lose.

Tomorrow is the perfect opportunity to try and slow our play down.

Even when we were winning, games felt hectic and slightly out of our control.

There's no reason we should be going against an off-form team and playing at a frantic tempo.

Never understood the phrase 'nothing to lose'. Football is all about winning or at least drawing, not losing. So therefore there is a game of football to lose which nobody wants, ever.

It means in our situation we currently find ourselves in a loss means little in the grand scheme of things. More now about the performance than the result, if we win today but play poorly its going to do nothing for us in the long term.

Right or wrong the facts of football usually dictate that if you lose over 6 or 7 games in a row the manager will go, This is a really important fixture for City and one we must avoid defeat in, Am not saying sack them but if the bad run continues then replacing them for next season will be tempting to the club

Hope we get a win, but with another no show mid week and the fact that we are the team to play when anyone else is on a bad run of form im going for a mediocre 1-1

    Bang on @Idlebantam@Idlebantam
A footballers mentality should always be to win if not then just award the game to your opponents and save everyone the bother. At this point in the season players should not only be playing for the pride of wearing the shirt but contracts/extensions are currently under review
Ok in our position when we can neither go up nor down there isnt that much depending on the result new systems/ fringe players can be experimented with
However a winning mentality is essential on the pitch losing can become a very bad habit and quickly spreads throughout the club a draw although it's a point gained is also 2 points lost

Two teams in very poor form. Looks nailed on to be either a 0-0 or a single goal in it.

Spot on and it's no shock to me since T & S were jumping up and down like idiots for a point against Bolton at home we haven't won a match.

Drawing has to hurt. Winning is the only thing that should count.

Oh come on, it was a point against arguably the best team in the division where we had been given a second half battering. What do you expect them to do, just walk off like we'd been beaten 5 or 6 nil?

I expect fans to jump up and down but then understand the draw hurts.

I expect managers to act like winners!

Royals manager Veljko Paunovic said that 'it felt like his team lost the game' after Saturday's 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest. "We threw away the first 35 minutes. I think we did control the game

Reading 6th in the Championship. Punching. You only get high in a league if you understand it's only 3 points that count!

    Drawing is like losing!
