Our midfield has no movement at all , I be will probably get shot down for this but I think O’Songo needs to be dropped and replace by Levi. Watt and Cooke get the ball and no one is making movement to make space and they get caught on the ball. I’m sure I actually saw O’Songo move away from the play rather than offer an option. He just doesn’t seem to want the ball. He is absolutely a power house and chases everything down but he offers nothing when it comes to being in possession.
pretty much since we started loosing is when he started playing. Before he made the team out midfield looked awesome.

Obviously our biggest problem is that we 100% need a central striker. Angol cannot play in the centre role. He should never of moved there yesterday and that is solely DA bad decision.

We don't expect quality every week, just being able to do the basics would be a start.

 

So what you are proposing if I've got this right, is that we should revert to the same midfield we had last season - that one that did so well that we finished 15th?

 

Agree with you on Songo'o. Major disappointment and hasn't got the ability to play midfield. His passing is woeful, he's too slow and for a supposed enforcer I rarely see him put his foot in.

well it is pretty much the same team. I just feel like O’Songo doesn’t offer anything when we are in possession, where as Levi does.

Yep Songo'o has been shocking. A couple of over the top fouls does not make an enforcer or midfielder. Not mobile enough to do the job he's there to do. However, he was the only player I saw sprint to close down yesterday.

Watt is awful. Was awful last year, has been awful this year. Only playing because we do not have a back up for his 'role' in the team. Has the occasional good game and then reverts to mediocre type. Stick a man close to him and he's headless or drops so deep that he might as well play in nets.

Of all the areas we desperately need strengthening midfield is the key.

I like Cooke but in this team he doesn't have the personnel around him to afford the luxury that he is.

Sutton is a tryer but skill and pass wise underwhelming.

 

Sooner or later we need to give someone time to turn it round. The merry go round hasn’t worked.I do however think we need to see improvement after the transfer window

 

If we aim for a long term project then Rupp, Sparks and Adams are not the right team to do that.

We’ve to concentrate on getting out of this division, The boardroom does need a complete change that is for sure but for now it’s eyes on the manager and for Bradford City he’s been shite.

I think you are totally right with that initial comment Park, the issue for me is you do that when you think you have found the right man - and at this stage there are just too many things that are NOT right with Adams

 

Don't know if it is only me but even before the Christmas period I thought we would fade 2nd half as other teams look fitter than us.

 

Spot on. Adams has gain the results. Shown he can improved players or connected with fans.
