Ho hum. Whatever any of us think about who should or should not be CEO, it's down to Rupp as long as he owns the club. For me, David Baldwin and James Mason should team up, pull together investors - they've both got a lot of contacts- and form a consortium to buy Rupp out. In fairness to Rupp, he's delivered pretty much on his promises to keep our club afloat through these horrendous times. But there's no way he wants to stay in the game with us long term. Why would he? He got totally burned by the Rahic con, and TBH, I think he's been pretty decent about honouring his commitments since the shock horror reveal of what Rahic did to the club. But he'd jump at a well structured consortium bid.

An owner that has no interest whatsoever in football. With Sparks in the role, it would be like the blind leading the blind.

I keep hearing this about Sparks along with most people I don’t know much about him. What I do know is he looks to be doing a good job commercially he might do a great job nobody knows. But as I say it’s more about what the owner wants to do.

The owner wants to leave everything to a CEO to run, probably within a specified budget. It's a perfectly reasonable approach if he gets the right person, but it's a concern that Rhodes seems to have been responsible for the appointment.

Everything about the club is LAZY!

And again Dave, why won’t you question Rhodes? The guy that sold us to him.

If Sparks is given the role, it's almost in the same vein as the Collins farce.
As @Fordy117@Fordy117 says, just plain lazy.

    Evening.

As I've said before, I'm purely judging Rhodes in his current capacity and not those prior to 2016. Rhodes had to come in (more than his initial 1 year sabitical) and pick up the pieces inherited by ER and SR. The parameters in which Rhodes has had to work will have been cascaded, instructed and financed by SR. I know Rhodes will have had automny in his role but he is not the owner nor the financer at Bradford City.
The books by all accounts were a right mess when Rhodes took over. I'm sure they are more in line now, despite being in the red.
Ultimately Rhodes is not the top dog at the club and let's be honest, calling for him out seems a bit pointless when his role is soon to be undertaken by a new candidate.

The appointment of McCall was not one I agree with but I'm sure Rupp had some say in the issue. In truth, the failings in the playing squad sit with McCall.

    I agree.
Wood , possibly French but he had a mare against Newport, Hosannah , Watt , Clarke, Pritchard and Novak for me are the only footballers in this squad i would be looking to use every week.
    The rest are total liabilites.
