I think Sutton is the ball winner in that midfield/box to box, Watt is there to be a play maker more than anything.

Despite being bottom I think Southend will prove to a tough game. Earlier this season they seemed dead and buried. But recent form has improved and they've dragged themselves back into a position where they're only a point off 3rd from bottom and five off us.
Despite our recent upturn in performances we need to give them respect.

 

If we draw this, I dont think the positivity will be forgotten at all. Whilst a win would be very nice and we should be aiming for that, a draw away to one of our relegation rivals would not be the end of the world

We have pretty much outplayed every team we have come up against since t and s took charge.
We can go down 2 paths.
The one of once we fully click we beat most teams or the one where we play pretty possession football, create chances but still don't have the players to stick the ball away.

As far as Rowe/Novak goes, unless we're going two up top I can only see Novak playing ahead of Rowe, Rowe behind him.

 

I fancy us to win tonight but would like to see more composure when getting in good positions out wide. The final ball needs to improve. We didn't really create many clear cut chances on Saturday, where you'd expect a simple tap in. Hopefully whoever we bring in next will add that little bit of quality we're missing.

 

Thanks Sean. I think they are possibly missing a few from your game and also Saturday. Our ex man Dieng got a red on Saturday and he was one of their better players at our place in a 3-0 loss. Additionally think they have 3 or 4 injured from Saturday but who knows.
