See I told you you'd win 2-1....OK I missed out your third but my prediction was kinda close-ish.

Really pleased for you ....Bradford's a great city and proper football club. All the best for you and I'll look out for your results over the rest of the season.

Thanks for the comments about the set up at Cambridge Utd. We're punching well above where we expected to be at this point but it's a really well organised, old skool football club. We're happy!

And no wetherbywhaler we haven't played Barrow yet ...that's 6th Feb. But remember when the east wind blows there's nothing between the Fens and the Urals so we'll be grand.

For all those who condemned our tyro managers. Well, seven games unbeaten is looking pretty good. Ditto, who slag off Gareth Evans. Yep, he's getting up to speed big time with two goals tonight. And brilliant that Danny Rowe has got his first goal for us. Duck broken, I think there are many many more to come. Let's celebrate. Still a long road to go, but hell, we're looking better and better game by game. Trueman and Sellars are turning out to be a mega surprise for a lot of people. But whatever they're doing, it sure as hell is working. Bottom line I think, is they're both very well clued up with current coaching thoughts and are confident together, in working and discussing it all through with the squad. Bless Stuart and Kenny, but they were so old school.

i think what has become obvious is the days of Warnock,Allardyce and Pulis are over ,the game has changed we have 2 young coaches with modern ideas who are modern thinkers ,not some has beens who stand on the touchline ranting and raving at referees for 90 mins,those guys are only employed by clubs who are usually struggling to avoid relegation and are short term appointments .We can now look forward to a brighter future with Trueman and Sellars in charge.

I promise I'll disappear after this but I'm rooting for you to beat them.. Their playing surface is 100x better than ours and they have no plan B if things don't go the way they want. Watch out for the fierce winds off the estuary (seriously) and keep the ball on the ground. And bully the two CBs and you'll be grand. I've got you winning 2-1!

Was nice to hear their commentary team praising us. "All square pegs in square holes", "management team really got them playing", "good team who had a bad run" , "don't deserve to be at the wrong end of the table" etc etc.

Really hope we can continue this momentum. Even better if we can add a few bodies in the next couple of days. Now I'm in two minds about offering T&S the job full time....because I don't want any sort of culture change. Right now they are doing just fine without the added pressure of being employed in the role. Whatever is happening, they are totally pulling it off.

 

I haven't missed our commentary team in the slightest....those Southend blokes were pretty damn good.

I was just going to post the same.

It's so refreshing to see us decide on a system and just play what we believe is our strongest line up within that system.

 

Thank goodness T and S took no notice of some of the fannies about on here and social media.

 

Never forgiven him and his mate Tango Man (Phil Brown) for parading round the pitch in white Dinner Jackets, at Blackpool ready to celebrate the Play Off win but Kammy and the lads had other ideas! He was sacked the week after from memory - Just deserts.

 

I don't think we should fear anyone - Saturday showed it. When we're on it, we're good enough for anyone in this league. That's not to say everything's rosy, because it isn't. We need a couple more this window and we'll need 3 or 4 out and in, in the summer if we're going to push for promotion next season. But we should going into every game with confidence at the minute. There's no one to fear in this league.

 

So more Ifollow subscriptions than the average Accy Stanley home gate (pre-covid). Impressive. I'm on for a pass tonight. Got a bottle of Saltaire Cascade and a Saltaire Citra (bit harsh that one so might have that first) at the ready. Plus a Jack n The Giant Beanstalk size bag of Dorittos.
