Rowe has to score before too long.

 

Danny Rowe’s consistently accurate shots from practically anywhere on the pitch is exciting to watch. Bound to get a goal when you have that many shots. He’ll get at least a dozen goals before the end of the season, a great threat to have at this level.

 

Fair play to Cooke. I called him out at half time, bit 2 assists have sat me back down. Good lad.

 

Lots of positives tonight. A few negatives too - we created a few issues for ourselves at the back at times, but i think that was largely down to individual mistakes on a poor pitch in bad weather.

We were the better team. We found ways to navigate the brief spells where we weren’t in control. We showed great spirit and tenacity again, and Rowe will clearly be an asset. I look at this team and think that with 3 or 4 of the right changes, we could be top 3 material. That’s an amazing turnaround.

Hornby looks better than ROD to me. Watt and Sutton look a cracking partnership in this system.

We need at least 1 quality wide forward with pace and a bit of trickery. Just to add more of that cutting edge.

No real complaints tonight.

The last City player I remember with a shot on him like like Rowe was in 1997/98 His name was Nigel Pepper.
I'm still salivating over that shot from Rowe that hit the bar tonight, unbelievable strike on goal.

Think you're being quite harsh, tough game last night on a tough pitch and terrible conditions but for me he's doing a very good job at moving the ball in this run we're on.

Disagree, this is a team that is flying, never had any doubt we would win this. Was reading we a should take Evans off, FCD off, Cooke off, Clarke off when it was clear this team had earned the right to put a poor 20.minute spell right. Which they did.
