Away Ticket Fiasco vs Carlisle

I've bought maybe a dozen tickets for darts events through Ticketmaster and although the inflated prices and booking fees annoy me I've never had any issues.

 

@Park bantam did not specify at which match there were ticketing issues at. My recollection is that the Wembley League Cup Final in 2013 we had to use Ticket Zone. My credit card had several fraud attempts made on it along with many others. I think this was what Park was referring to.

Update: It was the play off final v Northampton

 

I'm 99% sure it was the Northampton game as I had just got out of an exam and had a call from the bank questioning a payment of £300 that had tried to be taken from my account.

 

You are correct- it was May 2013. I have just been back through my Facebook posts. Someone tried to spend £449 on my card at Curry's.

 

If we were looking at allocated seats, I've actually got block 3, which actually puts me in line with the pitch. I would guess block 4 which will have a segregation on it would be slightly better, but as said before. I guess everyone will just end up all over the place anyhow.

 

Presumably you have gone down to City for your ticket. Those of us buying online have no idea which block our ticket is in.

 

It tells you your seat in your purchase history.

Your e-mail confirmation is to confirm purchase. The ticket office then allocation your tickets to you incase they are lost usually in the post. This happens after, and it appears they have updated mine already.
I think it reads as Block/Row/Seat.
We have the blocks up to No 4, and last time I was there Block 1 was full of knackered seats. Block 2 is behind the end of the pitch such is the stand.

 

Just checked my purchase history and I have a seat number but no block number?

 

Mine reads 000/0000/0000/ then a number. Can't make anything of that. Will see what transpires when I collect the tickets.

 

It should read 2/A/20

I guess there are allocating them today so they can say they are 1, ready for collection, 2, to ensure no duplicates are sold/missed.

If yours reads as zeros with a number they haven't made it ready for collection or logged it on the system yet.

I've still got that as well. It will be that they've not allocated you a ticket yet, the number after is the order number. As they've said they are not available to collect until Wednesday I would assume they've done some of the orders this afternoon/evening then once the remaining tickets are sold tomorrow morning they'll finish the rest of them in time for Wednesday.
