Most of them are kids, daughter recognises some from her upper years.

Got stuck on a bus in Salford with them, absolute dickheads the lot of them. No respect for the kids on the bus around them, pressing bus bell for twenty minutes, punching the roof and windows, insulting the Jewish community whilst passing and just generally being pricks.

I don't actually understand what the bring apart from nuisance. I mean we all love a good atmosphere but like I've said previously most of what they are doing is just noises whilst climbing over each other topless.

How about people stop using every single tiny scrap of evidence to bash the club and let them act accordingly in the manner they choose not the manner the bashers want ?

Don't forget this isn't some kind of high end premium club addressing it's paying members, this is just a few lads who like getting together to watch football and make a racket and it's written as such.

I can’t imagine pissing about taking a drum or any musical instrument to a match. Imagine taking a marching bass drum to the pub before the game, sorry lads, you can’t come in, percussion instruments are banned.

It's funny and it's not. It's funny because, through experience, when you're 15 - 17 you genuinely think you look like a super cool hardcore fanbase which everyone, fellow supporters and rivals, are in awe of. You post images as such on social media and you think you're the dogs b0llocks.

It's not funny because the reality of the situation is their behaviour is cringeworthy, annoying for fellow supporters, has potential to cause the club unnecessary grief, and they just generally look like pubescent virgins who are unknowingly desperately awaiting their first shag.

 

If true - those involved do not support the club - they are just there just to cause trouble. The damage they have done costs the club and there actions could Injure genuine fans.

I get what you’re saying Kev, but it’s important stewards ‘keep the peace’. Also it’s not just this incident, as I said on another thread early season I saw a steward escort a man to his seat with a beer in his hand, that itself could land the club in hot water! I don’t know if I’m just getting on or something but the stewards I come across seem to be getting younger and younger and with Covid can’t imagine they’re that well trained. We’ve had enough fines through away days through the last 5 years or so, last thing we need is to start getting them for home matches as well.

 

But don't mind the odd pint before a game .

 

Because we train at a bloody school...and a s***e one at that...

 

In fairness, stewards are there to protect and ensure the safety of all who use the stadium. We, as fans, shouldn't be relying on a handful of idiots to self police themselves, the club should be monitoring and if required intervening and removing them.
