Another month

Well if it was as simple as players deliberately not showing up for games, then yes you can’t undue what has been done. I imagine the players feel as frustrated as the rest of us. We are all going to have to focus on the way ahead, it does your head in trying to make sense of it all. I am trying to remain positive, but it is hard.

 

Nearly 3 month off yet could do with another 1 extra couldn't make it up

 

The thing is it was ony the players who could have got us out of that shocking period, and at the time it didnt look as if they could be arsed, it shouldn't have needed the fans at Blackpool to gve them stick to realise they were blowing a very good chance of a play off place.

 

Really feel for the players getting paid a small fortune then deciding to throw their toys out of the pram and taking the piss out of the fans for a good 3 months. then coming out with this saying they wish the season had another month to go yeah right instead of coming with this crap why not at least say sorry for downing tools

Every week they train and watch replays of games to assist getting things right as pro's, so it's difficult to fathom why the wheels fell off.

 

Another reason why the squad needs totally purging. Do the team sit down and work out what they can intentionally say to insult the supporters. The attitude of this squad is as poor as I've seen in donkeys.

I know only the players can win matches. My point on this issue is when the previable hits the fan, you lose focus, no idea what to do, previous manager gets the sack, that is on their minds as well. New manager comes in and tries to stop the rot introduces a solution but they still can’t seem to turn it around no matter how hard they try, in fact it gets worse. Confidence is completely shot, fear is now rampant they don’t want to go for the ball in case it goes wrong, and guess what it does.

Playing good football becomes habit, winning becomes a habit, playing bad football unfortunately also becomes a habit and so doe s loosing games. Of course they are not without fault, but I certainly don’t think it was deliberate, they just couldn’t turn it around.

Getting paid peanuts is one thing, but corn? No wonder no fecker gives a toss. I'd down tools if all i got was some cans of pissing green giant.

 

Fair points, insofar as a general summary goes. However - performances and confidence as a combined entity is an individual concern. So are we saying that a whole team of individuals lost focus at the same time ? We are not a collective, whereby one thought controls all others ........... We as a species are individuals, and so therefore I would add attitude into the reckoning, as to why City dropped away. Senior pro's can influence players off the pitch, as well as on it. Therefore I would suggest there was a breakdown or two in relationships beyond playing together. I include all those employed by BCAFC in that.
As an Engineer, I can tell you that failure occurs for a reason. A 'total breakdown' would suggest that early indications of failure were not acted upon, and so a chain reaction began. Once that happens - you are in a 'runaway' train situation.

 

Yes I agree, I was going to add that one or two key individuals did not only lose focus, but were busy with their own agenda. I don’t want to speculate who they might have been.
