If you take any of the players currently out our club and stick them in that side of Parkys they would also give this '100%'. It isn't about individual players, it's about the environment around them. Success breeds confidence which in turn sees better performances which in turn gets the backing of the fans. Parky brought that to our club, not one individual player or players. It's too easy to call players out when in truth most of those players under Parky will at one point in their careers have been called out just like our players are now.

 

I agree. I've absolutely no idea what Cooke Watt and Gilliead are trying to achieve, getting in each other's way in midfield and leaving a gaping hole on the right. There must be some sort of logic to it in the manager's mind but it's beyond me.

 

You could have made time to attend and ask the questions that would have made it uncomfortable for Adams and Sparks but you didnt, you would rather sit back and put down supporters who bothered to go and say how they didn't ask the right questions.

 

Just seen Parker update on this Saturday - prob no Cook and loanee from Luton still unwell!! Most clubs signing players who come in and have an impact, we can't even get ours on the pitch!
Not sure if Adams and Sparks quite realise what the reaction will be like if we don't get a result v Salford

 

I’m suprised it’s not being streamed. I’m presuming it’s a free event and they aren’t charging people to attend. If I recall, the last one was live on the clubs YouTube channel. Any news if it will be this time?

 

I don't wonder he deleted his twitter account if he was getting those sort of comments, exactly what's wrong with social media, the a guy doing his best, many say he;s too young and not capable but why the monkey comment.

 

I want to know what he alluded to about things being wrong in the background. He does not need to explain the playing side I can suss that out....... poor product.

 

Not 100% sure but I think the post about sending in questions might have referred to the Supporters Board meeting

Derek Adams and Ryan Sparks will be in the chair soon for an evening of questions from supporters.

A sold-out audience of 200 are expected to attend

 

I think he's the type who has his bacon in between two crusts of dry bread, with no butter and no sauce of any type.

 

Sparks saying we have an extremely high budget for this league..so why aren't we competing for the best players?

 

Fair play to those who are asking the questions....no dancers so far

 

QUESTION: "Are we going to get a shot on target this week?"

DA: "Look at the XG - we have one of the best expected goals in the league. We believe the way we play creates really good opportunities."

on that though our xG is now massively down in the last 5 games so if anything we are getting worse!

You didn't expect DA to order anything else did you? To be honest, he's probably the type that orders omlette and chips in every restaurant he goes to!

Yes but he's saying he doesn't have enough winners yet he said he made all the signings.

The football aspect I understand because not every signing will fit in and perform well but that also means he is a poor judge of character.

 

Personally, I don't think we have players who run through brick walls for 90 mins, because I don't think the players know the job/tactic given to them. I'm still struggling to work out what sort of gameplan DA prefers, and what the tactics are when we kick off, after half time, final twenty mins etc (apart from bringing on subs). So if I'm puzzled, then I am pretty sure the players are too. Not once have I seen our captain rally the players when we're losing, or tell them to keep their head when we're winning. I don't think I have seen the manager do it either.

 

I thought his comment with regards Walker was bang on, saying he plays regularly in front of 18/20 000 at Hearts and will cope with the Valley Parade crowd where as others say they are looking forward to play before large crowds then seem intimidated.
