They actually believed they had a story and ran with it. I'd have thought with the city connection involved with the site involved that one phone call would have proved it to be the bullshit it clearly was, but then social media is full of fake crap every day. As much as we are poor at the moment I can't believe anyone on here thought it could have been true

 

It's either that or a convenient cover story because GA told them to stick their offer and he wanted paying up in full if they wanted to make a change.

Yes I am one of them. Not entirely sold but thought there was something going on. The club could have stopped all the speculation first thing, they chose to wait until the journo got in touch with them, make of that what you will. My trust in this club is virtually nil.

It was nothing of the sort, just an online attention seeking football site that thought it had an 'exclusive'. Alan Nixon makes a living out of it.

 

It’s a site aimed at spotty teens on social media not a national tabloid, they will have heard a rumour and posted it so they could claim to be breaking the news and have amazing links and connections at clubs. They will take these gambles all the times and the odd one will be correct and they’ll dine out on it. There is no agenda against the club, nobody outside of Bradford City gives a crap about us.

It’s no different to the nonsense rumours you posted on here the other day about Cook and Halliday leaving. Did you post that to destabilise two key performers at the club? No, thought not you heard a rumour and shared it. Get over it, it happens all the time in this social media world.

Parks right - you couldn’t make it up, but the worrying thing is that nothing would surprise me or many others at the moment, such is the state of the club.

 

The club hardly help themselves though do they. They gave Parker the soundbite for his Twitter update, with the last line "no other reason....." as below, so that is only going to fuel the rumours isn't it! Stop being so bloody pedantic and constantly up the clubs arse!!!
