All depends on what he wants. If it is not much then yes keep him but I have a feeling he will be out of our budget

 

We’ve had him 18 months and I say the same thing about him every week. He’s got all the ability in the world but does one decent thing a game. Frustrates the life out of me as he never attacks the full back enough.
I think he’s got one assist this season which is not good enough to warrant him staying. League 2 player for me.

 

Unless he's on a permanent, I wouldn't sign him. If he was free or a small five figure fee, I would.

He has very little value as a loan player. Doesn't score, doesn't create that many chances, but he's a good footballer and needs to be playing proper football for a real club on a real contract. Not pie in the sky Newcastle. He's 22, that ship has sailed.

 

TMac, if everything is rosey then hes a great moral boosting dressing room player. If hes unhappy is very influential. I actually rate him very highly. As does Grayson although this could be bullshit just to get dressing room onside.

 

Flatters to deceive imo. When he's on the ball I'm really wanting him to shine but more often than not, much more often than not, he disappoints with a poor decision or end product. We can do better

Would seem that way having given him the captains armband. Don't know if he kept it tonight with vice playing. On a side note, I thought vice had his best game for a good while playing at CB

 

Funnily enough we seemed to attack more after he was subbed and Gibson came on.

I would let him go as overall his contribution didn't have much end result.

Im not sure how he would do that John. Where was that balance between Lawrence and Beagrie? Both very direct and very effective. Agree regarding Law though.

Lawrence was much better defensively and loved a tackle.

Gilliead has worked very hard for the team these last 5 or 6 games, so while he's not that physical, it could work. Imo.
