KM has done a good job but it was n’t that difficult identifying what to do. Get it forward quicker was an easy starting point. I really enjoyed the fight and attacking intent today but we could have easily drawn both league games but we won and winning brings confidence and energy.
I have no problem KM staying in charge if we have n’t identified a good candidate but if there is someone let’s bring him in next week. How we’ve played in the last 2 league games is their starting point.

 

WhatI love is the energy Pointon running. back and tackling their player. superb .... not seen. that for a while. Osadabe I agree has been bab but he is looking a good player now he is playing in a more front free role. The only time Smallwood got Into trouble was when he passed back just once .... I like what i am seeing. The Dons are a good hard physical side

What a transformational week.

Nicely sets up the Wrexham game which I am now sure we will win. We will outfight them and that is the difference in the last week that I have noticed. Every player has bought into what they need to do. They must be putting more yards in during a game. Getting fitter and being confident on the ball knowing they will make mistakes but still keep trying.

All in all a brilliant week and whoever is being interviewed to be the next manager should be shown the replay of this weeks games and asked is that how you will play? If the answer is not really then move on to the next.

At this level McD has found the right way to play and, so far, is getting a tune out of the squad with a never say die attitude. None of this respecting the opposition and rolling over having our bellies tickled like we did under MH. Straight at 'em and kick the feck out of them.

Cannot wait for Saturday and another well deserved 3 points. VP will be rocking.

 

Sorry Jon, it wasn’t, That’s the third time in the game where a player in front of a city player chasing fell to the ground without any contact. Watch the three incidents again .

 

Poor quality game from both sides who cancelled each other out. On another day the result goes the other way with the chances they missed but we're ticking along results wise until a permanent boss is appointed which is good.

 

I have noticed a change in defending set pieces in the last 3 games, it seems the zonal defending has gone and City have only conceded 1 goal in 3 games and that was from open play,,,,,,coincidence!!!!

 

Against a side in great form who have lost once this season. Great win

A couple of weeks ago I was travelling back home after the Wallsall débâcle listening to Morais on the radio. He hit the nail on the head talking about why we were failing. When things are not going well on the ball the team he played in worked harder of the ball, closed the opposition Down and earned the right to play. That’s exactly what we are doing now,and it’s making the difference. Of course that doesn’t turn us into world beaters overnight and the faults are still there but hopefully it will be enough to make us contenders

 

Bloody opinions…lol! ..The ref had a full view, and did you notice they didnt crawl all over the ref pleading for the pen…..That nailed it for me Ade.
