    Can you post a screenshot. We have no ads running that display anywhere near the notifications (and if we did notifications would open over them) and I just set one of my test accounts to the same usergroups as your account and its not showing an unusual number of adverts (Infact It seems to be showing 1 less than it should be)

    Should be right for everyone. If you think you are seeing too many though let me know in case there is some user group quirk I've missed in testing. It may just be me tweaking something to make them display less intrusive but its better to report it in case its not.

    Also if you see any ads that are causing issues let me know as I can usually block them

    Can't we get rid of that drop down advert at the top of every page? It's horrendous trying to navigate the site with that hanging over everything you're trying to read.

    I was just updating the forum theme to the latest base version and enabling the new footer feature for better SEO and that most likely caused some of the if loops that decide which ads are shown based on your user group to temp break. So people most likely were seeing ads for all usergroups and not just the ones for the usergroup they are in (or in your case the no ad versions)
