Exeter lost 2-0 at home to Shrewsbury yesterday. Also apparently they have lost at least 3 first team players to injury during pre-season too. It seems at least two of these three might be out next week, one with a knee injury.

 

I think I know when a manager is not happy with his teams performance and Coleman was not a happy camper post match.

I agree. Sutton looked raw at times last season, but he created quite a few goals last year through sheer persistence (assists against Bolton and Tranmere to name but two), as well as scoring a couple.

Sure he’s getting into troublesome situations on the pitch (Barrow red card for example) but all in all we like players here who don’t shirk the battle every week, and for me he fits into that category. He’s a decent young midfielder and who will only improve.
