Looks a good signing but just wondering if he will end up being a one year Eisa or a Lifetime Eisa

Ironic really when you think about the players heavily linked to us in the past couple of weeks, then out of the blue, this signing was announced today.

Well done to all for keeping it under wraps until they were ready to announce it

His heat maps for last season suggest most of his play is down the left wing. He doesn't seem to get in the box much, or cross from out wide of the box. He does like a long shot though and seems to look to get the ball in the box earlier... Which we've failed to do a fair bit.

His career positions though suggest he's quite flexible.

    Competition for Vernham and Crankshaw.

Good to have some pace in the team/squad.

Good luck to him. Hope he does well.

My daughter's fiancee played with Abo Eisa at Wealdstone, in the National League South, about four seasons back. Here's what he says about him:
"He’s primarily right footed, and is just very direct and attacking. Used to always just get the ball and run at whoever was in front of him. Exciting to watch, but can have games where he goes missing. Usually when an experienced bloke puts one on him early doors.
Very nice lad as well. He was at Uni when he was at Wealdstone, unusual for my level! He’s switched on."

Hopefully he's toughened up a bit in the last few years since becoming a FL player. Sounds exciting though.

Very decent signing - and not even ex-Adams! Shiver me timbers!

We do love a player from Scunthorpe these days.

Delighted with this I suggested him in January he is quick and direct decent player. Looks like a Turnbull signing

I always thought he was a striker but definitely needed someone on wing if there was ever a kick up backside to vernam and crankshaw this is definitely it

Well if Rupp doesn’t pay that then we need to throw our toys out of the pram plain and simple.

In my view, Eisa isn't what you might call a conventional winger in the Beagrie mould. Yes, he certainly has pace to burn and knows where the goal is but he played for Scunny right across midfield including out wide on either side. Do you recall the goal he scored against us when they beat us at their place? He collected the ball in a central midfield position and outpaced our guys to run directly at goal and score. That was hardly a goal from a wing position.

This is great news, didn't realise he was a renowned vocalist as well. It's about time, we've been crying out for a player that can bang out a tune.

A very solid signing. A goal scoring winger.

I called this a month ago when he decided to leave Scunny. Turnbull knew him well.

    Well done Sparks/Adams.
