Failing his departure, Edin should at least consider a 135 degree 'U' turn.
I admire his 'vision' - Don't get me wrong ........... However I thought this would be gently phased in.
I'm all for multi-tasking ........... But Edin has taken that to an impossible level, and is just as inept as Collins, in so doing.

As I often lectured ........... Understand what you are inspecting, before you attempt any repair or adjustment.
Edin (again) opted for a shortcut, and has failed to understand the product.
What could possibly go wrong ? ..........................
    :(

I said it at the end of last season when Grayson decided to feck off that Rahic was the cancer inside the club that was slowly killing it. Some slated me for being over the top however I’ve been proved right.

One of two things has to happen or we will be relegated. Either Rahic is removed as co chairman some how and Rupp steps out of the shadows to take charge. Or Rahic changes his approach realising that he was wrong and gets a proper manager in who has complete control over all football matters. I’m not sure either is that likely to happen but something has to give or it’s hello league two.

Feel for him because he is a fan too and loves the place. But he’s still taking a wage out of the club.

If he isn’t getting the backing to do his job effectively then resign. Why is he hanging on and still working here?

We have signed duff after duff players for 2 seasons now. He’s not blameless.

Exactly. If it's making him ill, or Edin is making his job impossible - or both, then there's nothing stopping him walking away. TBH, he was quoted as saying he wasn't interested in the managers job when we started looking after SG left, and he said he didn't fancy the thought of sitting on the bench during matchdays with all that stress, especially with his recent health scare. Well, urmm, looks like he's doing that now.

Of course he can just resign, but no doubt needs the money, or it could be he is hanging on in there for the sake of Bradford City.

That's the problem when you're reduced to considering second and third or in Wright's case possibly fourth choice targets!

I do sympathise with Abbo to point but he starts to loose me a bit having allowed himself to be drawn further than absolutely necessary into all this aggro by ER.

Considering his significant recent health scare he should have politely said thanks but no thanks to more involvement and simply left ER to it

If Abbo hadn't volunteered himself alongside MC & MD then ER might have hesitated a bit more before installing the pair without having an experienced figure head to defer to?

Then there's MC himself. I'll give him this, he's certainly trying to put a tough front on it all. But sure as hell he's churned up inside and weighed down by all the crap that's quite rightly being chucked in his direction at how badly things are going. It surely can't be doing MC's health and personal well being much goood either? Not to mention the distinct likelihood of things being carried over into his family life?

I think for the good of everyone's health, the sooner both MC & Abbo conceded the whole things beyond them and step down the better. Also as an employer ER has a basic duty of care to ensure this happens ASAP and certainly before the trio find themselves having to face an increasingly hostile and merciless VP crowd at the Charlton game.

For ER to leave the trio in that almost impossible position would be employer negligence in the extreme!

All this of course, unless MC really is as thick skinned as he appears to be?

Jimmy, it is unlikely to happen (at least not at this stage) but if SR himself feels things are going backward at a rate of knots he may well look to protect his investment by removing ER - the benefit to us would be SR does not appear to want any day to day involvement so this would mean appointing a PROPER manager to run the team and hopefully the upturn in form would provide the results (both on and off the pitch) that interest SR. Problem is none of us have any idea as to the current status of the relationship between SR and ER - but the thing I cling to is a successful businessman will know 1) this cannot go on for much longer and 2) be able to identify what the core problem is. We live in hope

Wright was our first signing this summer so obviously he was our first choice for that position. And no matter what people say now individualy we have signed some good players and another one today. However as @JonButterfield@JonButterfield pointed out we have signed players without thinking where they will fit in. And with David Ball they have done the same thing

Can't agree he looks well considering what he has been through the worry will never leave him
I think he was embarrassed and had no argument at what he had just seen Greg as a player put his heart and soul into every game and was very very angry so rather than let rip he held his tongue remarkably well. Going forward I see no reason why he shouldn't resign (or is he waiting to be made a scapegoat) Surely his health and well being for his families sake as much as his own must come first
As a player he was to be admired for his never say die attitude but whatever his position is now leaves a lot to be desired for whatever reason. He has got to react and quickly before his reputation is shot to ribbons

There are several players under performing, but while Collins says it's purely down to heart and desire, the reality is far more complex.

This all over. And then to post it up on here and start speculating about 'illness'. I'm amazed he didn't snap the phone out of your hand and lob it over the stand. To me he looked like a coach at a club who are in the midst of a shit storm on and off the pitch who has just seen his team surrender to another horror show performance. As for the 'I can't say anything' comment it's clear he didn't want an 'interview' with the wrong person ie. A joe public whose up in his grill, right after a humiliating defeat which in his quick wisdom would end up being posted on social media. What did you expect? A full sky sports style interview with a full analysis of tactics. He looked well and he was extremely polite.

I genuinely don't want to disrespect the poster who put this up. I can totally get why you wanted a word in his ear but in hindsight you must accept this was poorly judged.

I got the impression from Abbo's demeanour after the game that an ultimatum had been made regarding the result and performance and I think he knew head/s would roll.

Yes, I agree. At least we now know why Greg couldn't talk and couldn't say anything at the minute. He probably knew that it was turning bad for Collins and Edin wanted him out.

Btw, he didn't look too unwell to me.
