Well the defending at times was interesting…

The ref turned most fouls into yellows for some reason. Fouls given that weren’t fouls on both sides. They gamed the ref quite well .

Odd he was going to book THEIR Kelly then realised he’d already booked him , so had a word instead. yet our Oggy got both? That’s doesn’t hide the fact he was terrible!

 

That was a disaster.

Halliday, Ridehalgh, Taylor, Osadebe are absolute shite. Utterly clueless on the ball.

 

If that's our go to back 3, we won't stay up.

That whole selection borders on neglect tbh. Atrocious.

 

This sums up our recruitment that the likes of osadebe and Kelly now getting game time. If we had sign better they wouldn't.

 

Gives them a free kick that the score from that wasn't a free kick, then sends the lad off for one yellow card challenge IN THE FIRST HALF....

I would personally look closer at hughes selection and tactics than the ref.

But that's only me.

 

Thought we might miss Crichlow and wasn't wrong. Three at the back can work well but you have to recruit wing backs to suit. Feel for Halliday and Ridehalgh, it's.just not what they do. Last year's leading L2 scorer goes through another game without a chance being created, sounds familiar ...

No, you can't. The ref was awful and clearly overexcited or confused by the rule changes. But that shambles is on Mark Hughes, and Mark Hughes alone. Awful recruitment, training, tactics and selection.
