    what a side that was.
    Slightly related but Robbie Blake just finished recording a podcast with the under the cosh team to be released soon. Hopefully he’s got some stories from that time. He was my favourite player I think in that side. So skilful

    That day was just a roller-coaster of emotions. All week, just a bag of nerves after we failed to beat Oxford.

    Then the day. Crikey. Anybody there does not need an explanation. The final whistle.

    Guard of honour by wolves fans. Asda, champagne and alcohol. The M6 journey home...

    They certainly put us through the ringer than day, first Beag's not scoring from the penalty spot, then the referee & linesman missing Simpson being well off side, then the same player hitting the post with his curling free kick.

    87/88 wasn't far off. Technically, not quite up to this team but hard the fight, determination and grit of this team.

    Man what I’d do to watch a team like this week in week out, 98/99 was my first season as a season ticket holder. I got it into my head it would be always like that, you learn quite quick in this life that it ain’t plain sailing.

    Id have liked us to secure it at home though regardless of how good it was and not just because I didn’t go! If Mr Bradford City has scored his header to send us up at home I think that would have even topped this imo.
