We were lucky mate right up till the fire we were happy to stand and never gave a thought to sitting at a game of football, all seater stadia changed all that or we thought it had, I'm not sure without introducing "safe standing" which will cost the individual clubs there's a lot that can be done without being heavy handed.
The gradient of "K block" is a new one to me I get where they wanted those who prefer to sing/chant together but they used to stand in the NW corner and that looks a pretty steep gradient to me, but I can certainly feel for the fans who don't want to stand at games.

Think I read somewhere that it's a maximum of 25 degrees Bronco. No idea what the VP stadiums gradients are but certainly Derby felt reasonably steep last year with their safe standing.

I will give you the Grimsby goal as bring down to Byrne.

The MK Dons goal was down to an unfit looking Halliday being caught cold.

Byrne and Bsldwin looked good on Saturdsy, Baldwin named T&A man of the match.

Early days, but I have no issues with them so far and look as though they are comfortable at this level.

    Time will tell of course.

I did see enough of Wilson though to form the opinion he wasn't good enough for league 2

It took me a while before I recognise Tom but yes good to see many are still attending home games, although Jimmy Cuthbertson was there I didn't see Ian Cooper who is usually with him at the top of the stairs in our block.

Halliday was turned over 30 yards from goal. Surely you can concede that at least positionally it was poor from the RCB and CB?

Tom's wife (I think she was called Rosie) was my Mum's manager at work in market research and he once came to our house with her in about 1968.
I was so excited I could hardly speak,
I did get a signed photo though, and still have it.

Baldwin has be good so far ,
But I’m not having Byrne .
I’d love Stubbs back if he’s fit ,
but it looks like that ship has sailed .

I remember him joining us from Swindon, with Wilf Shergold. In terms of ability, they were at opposite ends of the scale. Tom was a great signing. I seem to think he worked as a Prison Warder after leaving City.

I think it was Mike Smith, but Alan Fox played a few games in a short spell at City, around that time. At the start of his City career, Smith competed with Jim Lawlor for the Centre Half spot. Jim was a no nonsense Centre Back whereas Smith was a more cultured performer happy to play it out from the back.

Salford couldn't score in a brothel, I'm not sure we should be judging our defence against them.
