He was, but it was Kemp that wanted the move away from MK Dons, not GA that wanted rid of him.

Not sure how that would work here. We have the makings of a decent front 3 without Young. Pattison, Walker (if he signs), Pointon and Oduor in behind. We would have to shift one or two to accommodate a partnership that may or may not work at this club. That's a big gamble and could risk upsetting the apple cart.

 

If Young is still here, he has to play next season.

I can't think of many better, realistic options in the middle of the park.

Quality on the ball, good touch, experienced, captain, good decision making, would be a great option in the middle where we've lacked guile since Watt left.

We want to improve on what we have for a defender not weaken our defence just because he has a long throw . I fell for it hook line and sinker BL didn’t I ?

 

I think Young will leave, but if he's stays, why does he have to start?. He would have to earn that right, and hasn't done a thing for us yet
