    Thanks Bigrod. Apparently some smart phones have a button that let's you do this but my older generation one doesn't! I'm sure there's a way, I'll call in a youth to sort it out!

    I've looked on the Q&As about using the City App with the new arrangements but couldn't find anything unless of course I just missed it. The most relevant bit I found was about having the QR code in either an Apple wallet or a Google wallet which is OK I suppose if you use either of them. I don't and simply prefer a card because I know it's always in my wallet and if, or rather when I leave my phone in the car or at home, it's not a problem.

    I doubt they would.
    However our final game is day after the deadline (Newport 27th), so hopefully our fate would have been decided by then.
    Although it's that tight, it's highly likely it's going right to the wire and a win required.

    Me too. I have a smartphone and use it for several things but I prefer an actual ticket.
    I have had several occasions when signal has been unreliable. I have forgotten my phone on the odd occasion. I've never dropped my phone or smashed the screen, but I know several people who have.
    You more or less have to use the phone when buying a rail ticket with Northern these days but I don't like it.

    Use my phone now to get the bus to the game, screenshot of my season ticket barcode to get in and scan it in the shawarma shop after the game. Don't even take my wallet out now going to the game.

    I just worry that like a lot of things with City, it could fail! So a photo of the QR code in the phone gallery gives me peace of mind.
