I think you will find that Bradford City footballers have the same Contract that, Premier league, Championship, League one, and League two footballers have.
It’s just the personal terms that they will all negotiate.

 

Set pieces by their very nature are just a case of putting in a certain area and hoping for the best. The margin of error for corners is quite small, near posts are generally well defended and as most folk are the same height give or take an inch, balls will more often than not be cleared by the first line of defence, any higher and you risk going all the way over the top.

All the players that finished the season so well are still here with the exception of Oyegoke and it’s a good basis to build on I am sure some of the deadwood will move on as we approach next season

 

For me it’s the triple lock but paying far too much taxation because the threasehold has remained static . Everyone in the country, inc footballers, bar tax avoiders, are in the same boat. Wage increases swallowed up by a static threshold. All smoke and mirror tax RISES. I would expect all footballers to seek at least 10% in all honesty and I wouldn’t blame them .

 

All about opinions as we know but if we went for a couple of those (who might be available) the outcry on here would be massive.

 

I think it will cost us to get Oliver and Taylor off our books but no point just paying them off. Lets see if someone comes in for them so we only have to pay a proportion.

Someone of the calibre of Moxon, former Carlisle midfielder would be ideal. The majority of his balls into the box caused chaos. You just knew they’d be on the money.

 

It is a funny one with Smallwood, very much like Cook and his 'weight loss' when he scores. If we win people say he's finally playing well, yet if we lose he's the worse player and captain to every play for City, despite been one game away on two separate occasions to leading us out at Wembley.

He's a steady player and it's often nothing to do with his form. Take him off set pieces and don't leave him horribly exposed and let him sit in front of the defence and there will be few better at this level. Like any player, play them out of position or negatively effect them through tactics and they won't thrive. Hopefully Alexander can get the best out of the midfield on a regular basis, as it has been too exposed and unbalanced for years.

 

It has to be an absolute priority to get that area of the team right.
It must be top of his to do list and it has to be quality over quantity.

 

Smallwood deliveries aren't as bad as some make out, heck even when we scored off one he still gets pelters. I would like to see us with a better free kick specialist though but they seem few and far between hence Moxon playing at a higher level

Retained list just infuriates me. So many deadwood players under contact that simply shouldn't be anywhere near a professional football club.
