Like i say, if ever i strike it big on the euromillions.
    Just watch me go.
I believe someone with Big Geoff's vision with a smaller ego and this club could fly.

Its the outward image of Bradford. Its got a bad name and so no one is willing to invest anything serious in the city other than the council, who's plans always fall flat on their arse.
Even lots of the city's residents are quite happy to do it down.

You’d just be buying stress Andy. Within 6 months Fordy, RC Bantam and Bantam J would want to know why you hadn’t sorted a new training ground that would cost about 5 million, plus the staffing and running costs. Then if we lost a few games on the trot they’d want you out.

I have very broad shoulders mate, although Fordy will not be happy, as his season ticket will be £700, just like his one for Anfield.

Not everyone thinks Bradford is a shit hole. It's got its flaws, well quite a few but it's my home and proud to say I'm a bradfordian

Me too. I hate it when the ppl who live here play it down. I know it is a defence mechanism, ie get it in first. Nevertheless, it is not all bad, and the ppl are totally unique. I am appalled at the way the politicians throughout the decades have allowed Bradford to sink whilst they are busy with their careers. This City used to be one of the liveliest in England. I grew up on a council estate, lovely ppl very conscious of their community and kept the place looking great. That has all gone now. Different priorities now.

    Ditto
I for one will never give up on my home town.
I spend my money in Bradford
The politicians of all creeds are at fault, for where we are.

Aye, another forum I’m on most supporters of other clubs say it’s one of the best away days. Even clubs from higher up like to be in the same division as us. Four-four-two magazine voted it 3rd best away day in the country behind Sheffield United and West Brom about 7 years ago. Most people won’t complain of a grounds that’s an easy walk from a city centre, accessible trains and cheap booze. There are better cities out there and I’d never want to holiday in Bradford as I would other cities, but as a football away day it’s up there. We have it far better than most imo, couldn’t think of anything worse than a stadium miles away from anywhere and having to park in a retail centre.

Not having a go Andy, but if you discount curry houses and dodgy car dealers, there doesn't seem to be too many places to spend your money

We shop in Broadway, see shows at Georges and the Alhambra. Lots of Coffee's on a Sunday, especially at Tiffins.
There are a few places if you look beyond and do like we do and ignore the beggars etc.
I will not let it drive me out and hope my pound helps the retailers.
Looking forward to Bradford Live when it eventually opens and have real hope this will encourage more bars etc to open.
Also looking forward to the new market. The other two are way past their sell by date.

Isn’t the office and dressing rooms owned by a third party and we rent, or did we buy it back at some stage?

Not sure mate, I always assumed it was part of the stadium although I could well be proved wrong.

Those bits are all part and parcel of what the FLPF owns being an integral part of the stadium and which we lease from them.

I guess you're confusing this with the 'old' huge shop and offices which now form the One in a Million school. Those parts were part of a separate deal which was sold to a development company, Land Securites at the same time the stadium was sold. They were later bought back by the club and then sold on to the Govt to form the school.
