How many season tickets will we sell?

Probably very similar income to last year , with 3000 less customers.
Go well and pull some of those 3000 in on a match day and the club could be quids in.

 

The most important number regarding season ticket sales, is how much Rupp will allocate for the transfer/wage budget. We could fill the stadium out with season ticket owners, but if he refuses to put his hand in his pocket and back the team, then we're still in the same situation as we've always been under the current regime. Now is the time to put his money where his mouth is. No excuses.

 

I've done a very rough crude job similar to yours discounting carers and those whom signed up at "full price" further to the early deadline cut off in 23/24

I've used a percentage base from 23/24, denoted in brackets to establish sales as per GA comments yesterday.

So example 51.87% of sales last year were adults, at 11,000 I've concluded 5706 adults have "renewed" to date. Of course, a tad crude!!!!

If you also say one adult that does nor renew ,might have a couple of kids with him, those figures might be even closer and not too shabby at all.
If Herr Rupp backs up his words, we might be alright afterall.

The budget has never been the issue for me. On that side we haven’t had a problem. The issues are all on the playing side:

1) appointed the ‘wrong’ managers. I accept, we don’t know without hindsight. But still.

2) lack of an identity and consistency. We had a good system last year that needed tweaks yet we shredded it to go 5-3-2. Didnt work.

3) poor recruitment to fit the system, which we haven’t been clear on

4) poor mindset. More the case under Hughes. Happy to play for a point and not ambitious enough / able to find key goal to turn draws into wins

5) Hamstrung by injuries at times. We miss Pattison and we always miss Walker. Our defence has been all over the place when backups have started

6) lack of a leader and players who handle pressure in the squad

……Sharpe can directly improve a lot of these aspects. Fingers crossed.

 

Herr Rupp has history as you say for taking other people's word for what's going on at Valley Parade, he must have more money than sense or very gullible, in all honesty Ian I'm starting not to care of stuff going on with regards non footballing matters although I do realise one goes hand in hand with the other.

If what I heard was true with regards the uptake of season tickets at the new prices the club said 10,000 was an achievable figure, if true the club must be more than happy with the present figure and still just less than 2 weeks to purchase or renew.

 

There are no more excuses that would appease our support.

I know more than a few, what I would call stalwart fans who have really taken a lot of time and deliberation before committing to another season on a scale I've never envisaged.
Rupp needs to realise how much damage as been done in every department of the club,it's certainly not minor by any stretch of the imagination.
Talk is cheap it's time to deliver what you have promised the fanbase.
There's no hiding place failure to commit to a plan and stick to it going forward would have catastrophic implications something the supporters of our club don't deserve having given their financial backing in numbers during the good and bad times.

 

I believed you'd have to go back beyond 20 years @Parader we were still in League One (now the Championship) in 2004 actually getting relegated that season.
In three more season if the club continues to offer reduced prices it will be 20 seasons, a fantastic gesture IMO by the club, and although Julian can be held at fault for things he's done in the past this action by the club has been great for the people of Bradford.
