And other managers have been given time after worse runs and performances than what we have now and gone on to produce memorable club defining years.
I was shouting for Parkinson to go after we drew 1-1 away at Accrington in the 2012-13 season.
We had been battered 4-0 at Rotherham the week before and both matches were horror shows.
My experience of that moment right there gives me the attitude of managers need more than 6 months to shape a team.

Sack Alexander, sack Rupp. sack Sparks, sack Gent, sack the players, sack the fans.
We have to stop wanting everyone sacked and let someone build something that lasts longer than a few months.
It seems Rupp is here for a while, Alexander should be allowed time to build a squad in his mould.
Sparks and Gent do need removing from the football side, both have failed for several season's.
The players we have accumulated are basically spineless and need moving on where possible, very few actually provide value for money, its not their fault though its the useless recruitment team, so we are back to Sparks, Gent and Hughes.
Rupp if he owns the club, also needs to be more hands on and visible, visiting at least once a month would be a start, bloody hell Germany is not the other side of the world.

Any talk of sacking the manager is pathetic. If you think it's the answer to anything you haven't got a clue and you're wanting change for changes sake.

Graham may or may not be the answer. His football might be crap and he may make a few decisions you wouldn't make but you don't see these players in training, you don't know what goes on behind the scenes and in training.

    10000000% Spot on.

Calling for the managers head at this point is pathetic.

Look no further than South Yorkshire.
Doncaster were losing every week with supporters wanting him out but they stuck by Grant McCann now look at them.
My point is they could have so easily sacked him but they didn't and their form of late as been unbelievable they have even gone above Bradford in the league table with victory over highflying Wrexham last night.
We can sack yet another manager and change playing systems but remember the players still employed don't necessarily fit the bill no matter who we replace him with.

I don’t think many think GA is the main problem, but we were so bad around the FGR/Mansfield/Harrogate games etc I also don’t think few would have shed a tear had he been fired by Sparks (in a desperate attempt to shift blame away from his own shortcomings).

Big summer rebuild awaits, surely, but we’ve cause for optimism now Sharpe will add fresh input.

    Really……

There are times when perfectly good employees do something really bad….As long as due process is undertaken and its “safe” if faced with a potential tribunal then it’s a fact of life, sadly for all concerned.

    Yes, Really.
Everyone that works for me, has been trained by me.
Yes sometimes mistakes are made, who has not made a mistake.
I believe its how you react to making the mistakes and my staff take on board what is said to them and then act appropriately.
    Man management and all that.

How do you stop someone stealing £2k , how do you stop male members of staff belittleing others after they have been on a weeks course of how not to Bully & Harass and lastly I have dismissed someone fully trained , audited, and continually assessed in the workplace from disregarding the safety of others ?

Even the London RMT branch conveyors couldnt defend such incidents .

So in what way would rehabilitation, man management and a pat on the head stop such dismissals. ?

That's a lot to reply to and probably needs a better head than mine.
I suppose i am lucky that we are only a small firm and as i say , i have trained them all up, so they know what is expected of them.
I also pride myself on being a reasonable employer, having worked for the company for 15 years before i took over , i knew what most of the gripes were , so could iron out any wrinkles.
I see it as a two way thing , i need them as much as they need me.

Asbad as it would make us look unfortunately I agree Alexander is not the mad.
Bad to sack him, but worse to keep him.
Despite the win, an allowing for tricky conditions, today was turgid fare.
In his after match interview he indicated he was happy with the type of performance he had seen.
I dread to think what sort of team he will try to build.

    Absolutely pointless sacking him.
Nobody wanted the job last time and nobody will want it this time.
He’s got a three year contract and we need to stop paying people to leave. The budget will be lower next year as it is without eating it up by paying him off.
