Awful game and most surprising thing is how awful Gillingham were, the seasons end can’t come soon enough.

 

Sounds like I made the correct decision in skipping iFollow for today’s game. Sadly there’s nothing the next 4 games can tell me about the management and squad that we don’t already know - more interested to monitor what happens off field now….

That said, I’m happy for Halliday getting a goal on his 100th appearance. Stand out member of the club this season by a country mile. No one else even close.

 

Well never know but after the up evil they have gone through (their own making or otherwise) you have to give them credit, especially the way they took us apart at Valley Parade was quite impressive

The total apathy on here this evening is so reflective of the way the season has petered out.

 

Wind did nothing for the game.

gills looked awful and could tell it was a dead rubber to them.

We should have probably scored a few more but started on the front foot at least, which is always good to see.

 

The standard of this league is awful. It really doesn't take much in terms of ambition and competence to be top 7, and the fact we're not should a source of humiliation for everyone at the club.

 

Is it just me?
I thought we were lucky not to be 2 or 3 down in the first 20 minutes, 2 good saves from Walker and a goal line clearance from Oki koki
Granted we were better 2nd half, goals change games

 

Missed the last 4 home games just cannot face it .......... .you watch us go on an unbeaten run now the seasons dead i just hope the powers that be are not conned into thinking that we aint to bad.

The reality being that when it really mattered this group went missing big time.

Folk simply aint bothered and its gonna take one huge effort to get folk back onside and hopefully the new director of football ?????? Can start sorting the damage that has been done over the last 6 years

 

Eh, They were only two pints off seventh before kick off !

 

I reckon they'd had more than two pints before kick off....

 

The most frustrating thing is the other 23 teams in this league are just as awful and that includes all of the top 7.
With just some minor improvements from last season we’d probably have won this league by a distance.

End to end game and a real battling performance.

But had only won 1 of their last 7.

They looked like a mid table with nothing to play for team.

 

A game of nothing importance played by two teams with half an eye on the beach. Not the worst game I've ever seen but effectively dead rubbers till the end of the season.

There is only one team thats played well at Vp and looked a proper side. Mansfield, and even they are bottling it now.

 

They conceded 5 against Harrogate FFS, they weren't gonna trouble the playoffs and they played like that. Crawley despite all that has gone on there look the team that want that 7th spot.
