    I think Gills fans wish he had signed for us. Seen a few comments from them moaning about what a disappointment he's been. Nailed on to score tomorrow now.

    I hoped we'd get him because he was what we needed at the time, but we ended up with Pattison instead.

    Ironically, Williams was meant to be the injury prone one...

    Still I think Williams could have been hugely frustrating, to be honest, possibly similar to Smallwood in terms of effectiveness at times.

    Exactly! He was invisible against us at their place and has quite often been hooked around 70 minutes. Can’t remember the date at their place but fans were already less than impressed and speaking to Hgate fans round my way Gills fell apart at the first hint of a challenge last week.

    If you watch that Sunderland doc series you'd see why he wouldn't be a good addition. Talented but too weak/sensitive to really make the most of his ability. Feel for him tbh but he seems too nice and football isn't
