I humbly disagree, until last week we had an outside chance of the playoffs, now we do not, just give the fringe players a go, we have nothing to lose except pride

Scarbi that how bad it's been. Just poor tactics.... just a few draws against very poor teams who played us and looked like Barcelona..... we would still have been in with a shout thats how bad it has been . Even a poor manager could have stumbled us forward... I dont understand playing already poor players out of position..... and also Oyegoke is not a footballer..

These are questions for Ryan Sparks and he’s failed to deliver them for years hence once of the reasons he hires managers without a plan, the club has no identity and the squad is so poor.

Rupp has to put more money in and show more interest in what is happening at the club but his bollocks statement is just to make people think he will put more money in then come September when Sparks is still delivering a shit show then what? Oh and our squad is still crap? Then what do we do?

In terms of GA he has to go as no matter if Sparks or Rupp did have a plan then how can you work with a manager than doesn’t know what he is doing from match? How do you plan with a manager like him? He will set us back years mate.

He needs to go. He may not be the main problem at the club but he certainly is not the answer.

●Playing a 2 man midfield of Smallwood an Mcdonald against Mansfield's diamond
●Regularly playing 6/7 defensive players against relegation fodder
●Regularly playing players out of position, i.e. Oyegoke in CM
●Not taking Smallwood off set pieces
●Shit tactics on a regular basis
●Refusal to make changes early when Stevie Wonder can see that the writting is on the wall
●Refusing to play certain players, having favourites

His style of football is shit. It relies upon individual brilliance from the likes of Walker, Pointon, Odour, Cook. It is not sustainable an the man has no plan B, besides bringing on certain players that should be playing from the get go. Get rid of him. Bring a DoF in and let that man decide which manager should be brought in

I'd chuck in going 442 against Notts County at their place, too. Absolutely suicidal football.

Alexander cannot be judged until he has chance to build his own squad in the summer.

And then we will be having this debate in a years time with a shed load of more dross on long term contracts.
Having endured months of GAs 'football' I do not trust him with a budget to build a squad. That said, I want Sparks out 1st as we cannot allow him to make another big decision.

He can. Sparks and Rupp would be foolish to trust him with funds.

When it came to Mark Hughes, he had a couple of months to impliment a system and a style of play. We had nothing to play for in those 2 months an all of us could see an improvement and an identity to the way the manager wanted to play

When it came to the likes of Bowyer an Adams, their previous success at other clubs warranted them the chance to be able to build their own team an impose their own style of play.

Alexander hasn't got either. His style of play is shit, an his only success is at Salford an Fleetwood which was half a decade ago. He does not deserve the opportunity to waste more money on shite.

We need a new system in place (again) come summer

The sad thing is this is one manager that needs sacking but they won’t because they’ve copped flak for sacking too many managers.

so we will be stuck with him due to them being afraid of firing yet another manager

Why can’t Rupp see the common denominator in all the issues weve had for the last few years?
Sparkes out- any city loving person worth their salt would have walked by now the fact he hasn’t speaks volumes, egotistical self serving indulging fake, the worst CEO in our history

massive alarm bells with Alexander, both he and his football brand just seem as dull as dishwater, with all the charisma of a wet haddock to rival Colin Todd , no wonder the players can't be rsed.

Sadly this is where we are at, GA needs sacking his football is completely dire and under him we will not be anywhere near where we need to be but as you stated it would be completely pointless sacking him. We’re stuck in such a shitty position it’s unreal.

I think GA has tried his best, but his style and tactics is leaving our team incredibly vulnerable. I don’t think there is any reason to sack him before the end of the season.

Nevertheless, I am with @Dennis@Dennis @Faithful Bantam@Faithful Bantam we need a complete change of direction. We cannot afford to allow any manager to dictate their style of play on our club. We have to have a plan, direction and identity of our club. This needs building and any manager coming to the club must be willing to work with the plan. Rupp has said he is looking at bringing in expertise to the football side of our club. We start there, first part of the plan is promotion out of this league.

I've said all I can on Alexander previously. The man is a dinosaur and should be nowhere near this football club come kick off in August.

    Another fantastic decision by Sparks.

This comment is one of the reasons why we are so crap. Too many happy clappers who haven't got a clue but to blindly pretend everything is fine

I want him to be a success but there’s been way too many times this season that his decisions have been concerningly questionable.

Yesterday he had a free shot of going after a game with attacking intent where no one would have criticised him had it not come off. Again, his decision making failed him.

It’s sadly been a consistent story since he came in. The majority of the footballing decisions this club has made in the past 6-8yrs need to be rectified with an acceptance it’s gone horribly wrong, and a new approach to be adopted. Sadly it’s hard to argue why GA should be part of that.

He wasn’t first choice appointment. In fact, I’d be interested to understand exactly where on this list he did sit as I know for sure it wasn’t in the first three.

The sooner the club get transparently moving on what was alluded to in the letter, the better.

I don't think he was on the list at all. Those that were on the list weren't interested and Sparks was panicking but then much like the email he found from Hughes ' son in his spam folder, GA's agent made a phone call and the rest is history.
