15,000 season ticket holders and I'm the only one who hasn't heard all these rumors. Feel really left out.

I agree, but what we need to do more is stop hiring sh1t ones, and to do that the pillock who keeps picking them has to go

I’m not a big fan of hiring and firing all the time, and I wouldn’t trust Sparks to employ a new tea lady let alone manager but his football sucks the life out of me similar to Adams’. I know a lot weren’t a big fan of Hughes and by the end he had to go, but at least we didn’t just boot it out of play or to the other team and tried to play a modern style of play which saw the line of Cook, Wright, Banks and Vernam go on their career best goal scoring returns. I can’t watch this style all next season and watch him remove young talent for ‘senior pros’ which usually means journeymen.

I don't think any of us have any appetite for another managerial change, or trust in those who'd make the decision. Continuity is important, but only if you believe in what you're doing. Another change may be needed, but its not a binary question. That starting point has to be a strategy and footballing philosophy, set by a capable leader (not Rupp or Sparks). That strategy should in no way be shaped around the current manager. You then assess whether the manager is the right fit for that strategy, and if not, you make a change and be as diligent as you can to bring in, then back and support that manager so they have a chance to build and shape something.

If it were me setting that strategy, GA wouldn't be a fit for what i think we need, and I'd never have hired him.

I wanted him to stay, mainly because we have had too many sackings. However, if we are having a structural reorganisation it will be better to have a clean sweep.

Sparks hiring GA highlights this man is clueless about football or has no long term strategy for the club.

GA has to go because his style of play, tactics and formation will never give us a foundation. I see why MK sacked him so early now. He worries about the team we play rather than making sure we play to our strengths.

I wouldn’t trust him with a transfer budget. Not all that he doesn’t believe in youth players.

I see no direction under him and he could set this club back years.

Having Sparks, Rupp and GA leading this club is extremely concerning!

Probably won't get it anytime soon, but we really do need a change from ownership down to team manager with a clearly defined plan and playing strategy on how we take our club forward, we are marooned in league 2 forever if not

So your answer is we can't keep sacking so we just keep one who's not up to it.

In my humble opinion , think that for the remaining games he needs to experiment, we are not going up or down , so use the rest of the season to decide who goes and who stays, and where we need to strengthen.
Any one who does not prove that they deserve a place in the team can do one !!

They’ve done that in the previous 41 games.

The last 5 just confirms what we’ve seen since August.
Poor recruitment coupled with poor management

If he can't show positive intent in dead rubbers, what will happen if we're in the playoffs next season? Another repeat of Carlisle.

Watching Bradford atm is like an abusive relationship where one minute she’s giving you lots of BJs and cooking you a steak dinner then the next she’s screaming at you like a banshee for catching you fingering her mate. That’s exactly how Bradford City treats us. One minute we have a glimmer of hope. The next minute we’re beyond being utter tripe. Problem is when the days are this long and abusive with very little BJs you start thinking I might as well support Leeds. At least they are a club with ambition and a professional structure that Bradford has never had!

Btw I want to add. I would never support Leeds. Supporting Leeds is akin to thinking it’s ok to still be friends with your mate after he’d fecked your sister. Feck that guy. That guy is Leeds. Feck him.

Sacking Alexander isn't the solution to the club's problems; it's far deeper than that. Sacking Alexander is simply papering over the cracks. It might provide yet another false dawn to create some short term enthusiasm for the fans but it's more akin to painting over the spots when you have measles and expecting the illness to go away!

The changes required are more fundamental than that. Rupp has demonstrated little interest in the club and his CEO is simply doing Rupp's bidding. In his recent letter, Rupp has hinted at making changes to the way he gets involved and suggesting changes within the club. I'll take all of that at face value at the moment and trust he is true to his word. If not ....

But I have a series of questions for Stefan before he starts making any changes. Firstly, what is your vision for the club in 1 or 2 or 3 years time? Do you for example see us staying where we are within that timescales or is promotion a genuine intent? Secondly, what's your strategy to deliver on your vision? Is it for example a simple matter of throwing money at the various issues in the short term or do you want to build something gradually over time or do you want to simply tread water until a buyer comes along? Thirdly, what's your plan year-on-year to help you deliver your strategy, whatever it is? Or if you prefer, what's your first step on the road to hhe destination?

The point about that is there's little purpose in appointing somebody new whether that's a DoF or a new manager or a new coach or developing the academy or anything else on the footballing front in the absence of a clear vision and therefore strategy for the club. We've failed at that for years now and continuing to appoint a new manager on a regular basis, for example, hasn't been very productive. I put that in part down to not knowing where we're going as a club. Getting yet another manager into VP in the absence of knowing where we're going would be to repeat what we've done already in recent years. And that hasn't been particularly successful!

Great analogy. The 'fingering her mate' bit really hits home.

If GA hasn't yet decided who is worth keeping and who to move on, then he needs to go now.

My fear is that if Sparks sacks GA, it'll undoubtedly be another elongated selection process. Should that eat into the summer window and be combined with a significant reduction in ST sales. Then next season we could see something similar to the season where the club was relegated from League 1.

I'm sort of edging towards sticking rather than twisting as a little bit of stability might be the difference between mid table mediocrity and the total oblivion that relegation would bring. Whilst GA hardly fills me with a degree of confidence that he could build something better. We don't know what the alternative would look like and it could be even worse. I wouldn't trust RS/SR to effectively run a bath at the minute.
