What a great future to look forward to, being stable in league 2 for ever. I think the jump in price from the junior tickets is too steep, 19 pounds to 160, for over 12s.

 

I haven't sat back and done nothing.
I've attended the games and supported the team and will continue to do so.

Rupp is never going to spend the money the owners of the clubs you've quoted have.

Adult (24-64): £198 (DD: £19.80pcm)

Senior (65+): £174 (DD: £17.40pcm)

Young Person (17-23): £174 (DD: £17.40pcm)

Youth (12-16): £126 (DD: £12.60pcm)

Junior (11-): £30 (DD: £3pcm)

 

I think they mean when they get to 12, so from the lowest price, which next year is £19, to the next band

 

Oh ok that makes sense. It is a big jump.
Specially as one of my kids will be getting his first over 12 ticket

I guess your right but I'm quite comfortable with that. Hopefully one season it all pulls together and we do better and everyone is happy clapping in the stadium along side me

Well it wouldn’t be happy clapping it would be applauding success.

 

Depends on how sales are getting along, but around 9-10k seems likely if it is true that the were only around 3k last week. There is always an uptake in the last week, but can’t see it being 8-9k.

 

I was in the Bradford End with about 20 others.

 

I think 10K will be about where it will finish. Next season is a HUGE one for the club-another mediocre season and that could fall to 7K the season after and that would just about be the core fanbase. How the club could run on those numbers I can only guess but they wouldn't be able to justify a ST of around £399 that they would need to keep the playing budget competitive. Rupp should dig deep next season and really fund the squad well and hopefully this mystery person coming in can spend the money much better. That has been where the issue has been. HOW the money has been spent. We need a smaller more talented squad based around Pointion/Kavanagh as our attacking threats. They could become a real pairing next season. Look at how they linked up for Bobby's screamer V Tranmere. They seem to have a good understanding already.

 

I am sure I was there as I started going to all home games in 1979 as a 14 year old loving the buzz of walking down VP and seeing the ground. Loved the Bfd End but later ended up in the Paddock, then Kop after the fire. I could name the crowd if that helps at all?

True, but I think most will have decided by the deadline to keep your seat, I doubt there are thousands waiting to move seats. Obviously if there are drastic changes at the club then that figure will change as with any estimate.

 

Even if it is around the 10k that still adds up to a decent drop in season ticket sales does Rupp simply put up with it losing morw money or does something now to try and get people on side ?????
