I don't think it's impossible. He should have had a hat trick today. He just wasn't confident enough or good enough to score any but he gets in the right places but doesn't score enough.

Been to our coaching academy John. We turned up for four games like billy big nads and got smashed. Terrible coaching effort on GA part.

He's scored double figures once in his career and that was 10 at Barrow five years ago. He is crap

    Great day out today.

Started with walking past that pathetic attempt at a protest.

Followed by a cracking performance on the pitch, thought kavanagh and Pointon were very good today and we should have scored more

Really enjoyed that! Thanks city sending me home happy again!!

He hasn't been playing so we don't get promoted,
    They can't afford promotion!

Another game without Cook where we look a lot more exciting and dynamic going forward. The extra pace and energy is notable.

well said shoatsy. It would be nice to see the usual suspects give our manager the credit he deserves.

Grimsby next who are fighting for survival.
Lets see if we can match their desire on Monday.
Be a lot tougher than today, that's for sure.

Entertaining end of season game. Ref was excellent. Three points:
It's worth considering who didn't play today and the difference that made.
We played with one defensive midfielder, not two or three.
We certainly reaped the spoils of Pointon.

Playoffs are still on mathematically. Maybe the lack of pressure on the lads after everyone, including the manager said that promotion is over has allowed the lads to play more freely

Yes similar to when Alexander dropped him against Mansfield, if it was just down to leaving Cook out Alexanders job is easy, unfortunately that is not the case.

I can't judge him on what he's done before joining us and I also don't think you're following what I'm saying.

You said he couldn't score 20 goals. My point is that he gets in the right positions to score lots of goals and should have had three today. He's just been incapable of scoring on most occasions.

Come on Graham your response with regards why he kept Pointon out is laughable trying to keep a level of consistency/basis ffs what you on, are your seriously telling us fans he didn't even deserve a place on the bench with the likes of Odour, Smith, Wright, and others if the kid offer nothing more than effort the kid should be considered.

Fair play to the team today.

That was quite entertaining, especially the 2nd half, although Tranmere were as poor as we have been lately. Their heads dropped further than ours have been doing when going behind.

Bobby Pointon, take a bow lad, that was a great performance and goal, and he has that rare ability within our ranks to get fans off their seats.

I thought Kavanagh, Richards and Oyegoke had their best games for us.

Jamie Walker was almost back to his best, we must take that option of extending his contract.

Nice to come away from VP in a happy mood for a change.

Maybe a masterstroke in man management.

We win our next two games and it's back on. I wouldn't be surprised. The way form has panned out this season they've been teasing us. Just when it looks over we edge back into contention. Realistically though we'd need to win all our remaining games.

A welcome win but put in context against the worst side I've seen at VP this season. Who would have thought giving Pointon game time would be beneficial to the team eh Graham?
Still hasn't changed my mind about the club, a win against fairly pathetic opposition won't persuade me, Rupp out.

Well an entertaining match that's for sure Smith looked on to me and he was unlucky with their keeper making a save i dont think he knew much about. Its amazing what a goal and a bit of confidence can do for a team we looked relaxed and moved the ball well after that! Bobby deserved the man of the match for me but I thought Kavanagh had a very eye catching game.

Infuriating though how do we go from the last 4 games to today.
