Makes Alexander look more stupid. Sticks the lad on the bench for months. Finally gets a start and he runs the whole game and scores lol

Fair play to the team today.

That was quite entertaining, especially the 2nd half, although Tranmere were as poor as we have been lately. Their heads dropped further than ours have been doing when going behind.

Bobby Pointon, take a bow lad, that was a great performance and goal, and he has that rare ability within our ranks to get fans off their seats.

I thought Kavanagh, Richards and Oyegoke had their best games for us.

Jamie Walker was almost back to his best, we must take that option of extending his contract.

Nice to come away from VP in a happy mood for a change.

    Pointon with a cracker.

GA's worst call of the season to exclude him so long.

Maybe a little OTT if I may say so ;), but you correct I don't think I've read a single post making Bobby Pointon out to be the saviour of Bradford City, but a blind man can see the lad has talent and handled correctly could generate Bradford City a lot of money in the future, I just hope the kid gets to sample a bit of success's whilst he's still at Valley Parade.

Well that was so much better, could have been behind early on , but built into the game and a deserved win and could and maybe should have scored more. Pointon, Kavanagh and Walker were all very good today, Smith could have been on that list, but really needs to work on the finishing.
All a good 6 and above and Walker the keeper with 2 great saves second half.
More of that please and build the confidence for next season.
I am not having the Tranmere were shite argument, they were no worse than many a team to visit VP , we just wanted it more and had that little bit more quality for once.

Well my reward for travelling to Harrogate, last Saturday, was to pick up a nice virus, which has wiped out any chance of attending this weekend's matches. To say I am gutted would be a gross overstatement.

How has Pointon not been getting games? Honestly it's disgraceful. And I'll be honest, I think GA only played him today to try and appease a disenchanted crowd.

I dont like it, the squad has a bottle job mentality. Happened last season an now its happened again. We play well until things are in our hands. The moment we are in control of our future, we drop the ball

I expect a top half finish, if the squad is utilised correctly, but play offs is a step too far. We could end up winning the next 5 games, an then put ourselves in the driving seat, but I guarantee you, this group of players would bottle the season finale an we'd drop out of the play-offs

Alexander deserves to be put on trial for war crimes. How do you start the likes of Odour an Wright an Osadebe over Pointon for months on end

Another game without Cook where we look a lot more exciting and dynamic going forward. The extra pace and energy is notable.

Funny game. Could have gone either way in the first half hour. However by the end of the game if it had ended say 5-2, it wouldn’t have been surprising.
We looked a lot better playing it largely on the deck. Even Smith who struggled at times, contributed to the movement.
Far more entertaining to watch. A superb goal from Pointon.

What are you on about? Kavanagh was announced as the sponsor's MOTM in the ground. Pointon got the fans MOTM on twitter.

    Great day out today.

Started with walking past that pathetic attempt at a protest.

Followed by a cracking performance on the pitch, thought kavanagh and Pointon were very good today and we should have scored more

Really enjoyed that! Thanks city sending me home happy again!!

I think we are mathematically safe now to stay up :p

Some good movement off the ball today saw us create some great chances. Pointon has to play for the remaining games as he creates something out of nothing.

Look to have a good player in Kavanah just hope he can keep on his feet more often.

Let's be honest Tranmere were woeful but we can only beat what is in front of us. And we did.

Onto the Mariners who are fighting for their league place.

Well done to the lads today - enjoyable game, had a good go. Superb hit from Bobby - what a way to justify his eventual inclusion. Keep building that momentum now.

Don't get this severe criticism of Smith yesterday.

I thought his movement, linking up with Kavanagh, and knack of being in the right place yesterday, was very good. Yes, unfortunately, apart from the disallowed goal, his finishing let him down.

There is definitely a player there for me, who just seems to lack confidence at times, and clearly needs to work on his finishing.
