I'm sure Sparks today will be bunkered down in his office with his phone on do not disturb hoping for a flash in the pan win next weekend so the gormless can come out and say "for the doubters".

In reality he should be in a teams meeting with Rupp, and updating his CV whilst they agree to part ways. That isn't going to happen however even though now he has lost the support of those at the top end of the loyalty points ladder who were the only ones who could aquire tickets to Harrogate, which kind of rips in two the it's only the vocal minority who don't attend games who are giving Sparks a hard time.

 

We do know - it was mentioned in another thread. The existing provider was pulling out of sports ticketing at the end of this season. Still doesn't excuse the shoddy implementation.

No idea, but I guess if they waited til the end of the season they wouldn't be able to sell season tickets until then...and for obvious reasons I think they would have wanted to get them on sale ASAP

 

Well that is about to backfire. Ticketmaster do not have a good reputation. Plus I would have thought it would have been better to purchase ST under the old scheme and leave the new one to be introduced in the summer and it would have given fans time to get used to it, but hey what do I know. Once again we are left to speculate the why’s and where for’s.

I understand there are still a few who clap along regardless. You can't change stupid, but at this stage they are a very minority voice.

Fans wouldn't have got used to it over the summer though as they would have ignored it until they needed it next season so this would just have happened then. Just like the club said a few years ago that everyone needed their own account setting up but it looks like a lot of people didn't bother for kids etc as they didn't need to at the time as they could just use friends and family

 

Let's hope the Ticketmaster system can cope when deadline day arrives

 

Not sure I agree. There are ways of introducing new tec and throwing the supporters under a bus is probably not the best way. Or for that matter your own staff who have been left to soak up the massive inconvenience and anger for fans.

 

I'm pretty sure Ticketmaster can cope with anything the Bradford City fanbase can throw at it.

The people at Bradford City setting up and inputting information into the system on the other hand...

Like suspected ticketmaster have rolled out an inadequate service. Fitting really when the club is inadequate “self-sustainable” also.

I’ve received this email today ref lack of ability to purchase away tickets.

The confirmation emails are being sent out shortly, we are waiting for Ticket Master to resolve this for us. You should be able to purchase Grimsby tickets now.

Just to clarify I had no interest going to watch any more of the shower but it would be nice to have the ability to purchase tickets, if the situation at the club was to change.

 

You would think that the issues would be reduced as the Ticketmaster team dealing with the rollouts have done more and more. Surely these issues can not be unique to us, unless our previous set up was very unique in the way it worked
