I was stood right behind GA today and during the match you can tell he's seething at the lack of ability and professionalism in the players he puts out.
I'm convinced he's knows that the players aren't good enough and next season he can try and get what he wants in.
Bringing on Wadsworth for his debut, not dragging Richards off when he's the worst player on the pitch.
Not trying to kill a players confidence whilst trying to give a youngster a chance reminds us he's an ex player.
And for all those clamouring for Pointon, a reminder again he's not that good and that's maybe why he doesn't start.
His after match interview alluded to the way he's starting to think now.
This season's over, full pre season and 12 players out of contract shown the door.

You trust Sparks to have put something like that in a contract?
    I certainly don't mate.

Oh hell no, hence the might.

But in his first year he was speaking on their podcast, hoping he took a tip or two.... again, hope.

I am in the same boat. I am baffled by team selection. The team he put together for Wycombe match was superb. I thought right that is your team train to that 11. But no we have all kinds of combinations. I think he needs to understand that he barely has a full 11, and needs to play in one formation and only replace players if he absolutely has to. Having both Smallwood and McDonald in midfield is not working too slow.
I am not so sure now if he can’t identify his best 11 by now regardless of training efforts he must stop changing them around or fans will not want him to get the summer budget.

Many of his signings for MK Dons have turned out to be bit-part players, with the exception of Alex Gilbey and Joe Tomlinson.

I honestly can't see GA turning us around in the Summer.

I've been worried since day one that he was perplexed that a team would have a set way of playing. I think he'll just sign a bunch of all-rounders.

Actively start looking for his successor now. Judging by the last time it took to fill the role we'll just about have something in place to coincide with his contract expiring.

Just look for Sparks' replacement, make it someone with actual footballing knowledge and connections, and replacing Graham Alexander (an ordinary L2 manager) won't seem like such an ordeal.

I thought Chapman when he came on and played in his natural position looked our best player. It probably wasn't the coming on he didn't fancy, it was the walking off in front of the Bradford fans after that dismal team performance

Yeh you’re probably right. No one wants to be put out in front of angry fans. I get it.

In his latest interview in the T&A, Alexander accepts responsibility on the pitch, but that there are also 'other issues' at the club that are not his place to discuss.

Already coming out with the lines that Grayson and Adams came out with.

So it's not taken him long to see what the fans have been worried about for so long, namely the hierarchy of the club.

Somethings got to give within the next few weeks now surely?

He will have identified who he wants to keep or leave. Until playoffs are unreachable he needs to keep them onboard. Now that’s gone he should be looking at everyone he has available and be giving them chances. Injuries will restrict that but he should be sorting those he wants shut of. Difficult when hughes had given 2-3 year deals out. So results may remain poor as he figures this out.

Bringing up issues that are out of his control is the sign that he's about to go in my books.

Bigger question between now and the summer will be if its just GA or people above him that are also out of the door.

Yup he has, quite rightly in my opinion, called the players out, but this also crosses the line in his relationship with them so we can only guess how this weak willed bunch will respond. To use GAs own description on Saturday, they don't really have a leg to stand so we'll see over Easter who has a pair! I am also speechless that the man who is currently responsible for our recruitment of 'players who will have the right character' is still at the club - baffling.

The 'other issues' comment comes as no surprise and we can only hope and pray they are now addressed as soon as humanly possible

Well, well, well. And there will still be some that try to claim GA is as deluded as Derek.

I wonder what those 'other issues' could be.????

It wouldn't be our owner and CEO being weapons of mass destruction would it...

If various other Managers have said the same thing then we must be inclined to believe them, even if you dislike the other managers.

You can tell when somethings not right in a team. There's a reason we've gone from such a good run to such a bad one, I can't think that's all down to GA's playing style because he oversaw the couple of decent runs we've had...

    Anyway hopefully it'll be sorted.

GA has credit for me until 10 games into next season. And the results between now and the end of the season won't change my mind*

*Unless he runs around naked on the touchline and starts Sam Walker upfront and Jamie walker in net. Then I might think different.

Don't want this to sound like a "having a pop" question, but what has GA done for you to earn credit in the bank until 10 games into next season or what will be late September? Just curious to see what are the thoughts on it? As for me, I cant think of many things that GA has improved of changed my mind on since he came in.

Under Hughes, we struggled with a 5 at the back system and moved to a 4231, which GA is now also doing every game and the same patterns are showing. In terms of players, all very inconsistent across the pitch but still the same as under MH, it's Halliday and Gilly who are performing that notch above the rest on the whole. Nobody seems to be worse, the underperformers are still underperforming. He's given more gametime to Kelly and Tomkinson but after a bright start, both seem to have settled into up and down performers.

He's not really given youth much of a chance. He rotates out attacking mids/wingers just as much as Hughes so they look even more inconsistent than maybe they actually are as nobody can build enough gametime. Gent runs transfers so it's not like we can judge him on those either. I don't think we are any better or any worse than we were under Hughes, he's come in and just carried on the less than impressive ways. And we've set a precedent that performing around where we in the table leads to a sacking.

But the last 3 or 4 games, it seems like GA has lost the dressing room for me. Every game he subs off Ridehalgh early, but he still starts the next? Playing 2 poor fullbacks in central defence? Just to end up switching to a 4231 in those games anyway when he could then have just started with a 4231 and had Platt and Kelly in defence? Continuing to start Tyreik Wright when outside of a 25/30 minute spell where he had an 18 year old from Accringtons academy on toast, he's looked dreadful.

Another professional who’s been around donkeys years alluding to off field issues, I’m sure one or two will still keep their heads in the sand however.

Perhaps Graham Alexander told the Scarlet Pimpernel some home truths during their meeting.
Graham's honesty might not be the best policy based on previous employees handshakes but I get the impression he's not one for holding back.
Polite and professional when needed Infront of the media but a different proposition behind closed doors.
The "other issues" who are accountable have never formally take responsibility.
Hire and fire the man you installed like all the rest whilst leaving yourselves untouchable.
    It's an absolute disgrace.
