Graham Alexander should be sacked

Ridiculous to sack a manager when you have a total buffoon with a history of failures likely to make the same stupid mistake.
No one with an ounce of credit would come anywhere near near us.

Whilst GA needs to take some accountability for this shambles on the pitch you can't get away from the shambles behind the scenes. To get real change we need new engaged and interested owner and an experienced football man in the CEO role. Replacing GA changes nothing on the pitch.

 

Yeh sack him. See what that changes. Absolutely thick as mince if you think it will make it better.

 

This is Hughes team, he knew how to play them.. Alexander is clueless.. dont sack him though, Sparks and Rupp need to feck off first

Sparks is even more clueless. Do you really want him to sack GA and be responsible for finding his replacement? He's the one that needs to go first.

 

John Coleman wants a new project he said on sky sports haha! No good sacking Alexander , it’s gotta change at the top and filter down. Alexander continuation of odd selections if worrying though, 3 at back but only 1 an actually centre half then there’s another on bench ! Why not true a 2 ?

 

I wouldn't sack him but he's making it very easy to be critical right now both in terms of team selection and team performance.

 

I agree-I would rather see him with a team of players he wanted. Though he has had long enough to at least get some sort of tune out of what we have. I wonder where we would be in the table if Pattison and a few other 1st 11 players had not been injured for so long. Just listened to him after the game today and he has been open and honest that we need to be better and that some of the players are unable to cope with the "pressure" of playing for this club. He wants a team of grafters and who have a desire to win every game. Don't think he threw anyone in particular under the bus but it did sound like he already knows who he is happy to let go in the summer.

Sacking managers every 6 months or so will never work.

 

Just to add to this, batshit crazy Crawley, whose ownership is as nuts as you'd like, are in the final play off spot as it currently stands, 9 ahead of us with a game in hand.
Just sums up how pathetic this football club currently is.

 

Batshit Crawley have owners who have clear plans and philosophy about how they want to play football. They recruited a manager to implement that and recruited players to play it.
Ok, their funding is maybe 'out there' and may ultimately come to grief. But don't dismiss their operation as batshit. It currently looks more joined up than ours

 

They were everyone's favourites for relegation to be fair. Don't think anyone would have had them around the playoffs.

 

There is no point sacking Alexander before Sparks has been replaced. It was hard enough to recruit a new manager after Hughes was sacked. It will be even harder if Alexander is sacked !!

 

Agree Silver, another dreadful day to be a City fan but Sparks HAS to be the first to go. Alexander is hardly impressing but i at least thought most of his interview today was an honest assessment and not the pap of the previous 2 games. Whether he is the right manager to take us forward is for another day but whoever that is to be we need it to be under a more football savvy regime above him.
Removing Sparks (and Gent) has to be the start of the process
