Come on chaps, its only in jest. I mean no harm. Some of the replies were amusing though...

Bradford was a good away day, I've always enjoyed it and every Bradford fan I met was sound.
I don't think we'll get promoted either by the way, we're too Jekyll and hyde and have some tough games coming up. I hope next year will be our year. Play offs mean nothing to me as if we have to play in them I guarantee we'll fck it up.

Good luck trying to oust your owner. In the words of Alan Partridge - You might have to go Black Ops, to rid him. We've had to do it, and its a long slog but disrupting their daily life/other businesses works a treat.

So was my reply although I believe it to be true, I know it's a long time ago since we were in the Premier League and IMO it was not all what it's made out to be for smaller clubs like ourselves and even more difficult in modern times.
If you don't get promoted and release Phil Parkinson I drive down and pick him up myself, believe it or not even with those 5/6 great season he gave us my opinion is not shared by many Bradford City fans.

Just listened to Alexander's pre match interview for the Harrogate game. All he did was excuses, we were unlucky, injuries, pitch and we came against two top scoring teams but we did work our socks off.

No mention of the fact we couldn’t score against the team with the 2nd worst defensive record in the whole EFL?

    Thought not.

Who was doing the interview (know it wasn't Jamie R)? Not one challenging question and almost a bit of a creep, GA was able to answer on cruise control but not convincing at all.
Apparently the data is good so we've all been fretting over nothing!

That's how I felt after the interview, nothing challenging even simon parker on easy control.

The best bit is the excuse that he might have underestimated the players disappointment after the Wycombe defeat. Pardon Graham? Surely if they are that heartbroken about missing out on a trip to Wembley they'd be busting a gut to get there some other way wouldn't they?

TBF, in the interview after the Notts County game he did make quite a big deal of our low scoring problem. He said it’s been an issue all season and also pointed out that last season we were almost totally reliant on Cook’s goals. It sounded as though he’s extremely frustrated with the hand he has to work with, particularly up front.

If you look at the decent run of results we had in January and February, there were a lot of clean sheets there, based on a settled back three that was the tightest in the division. With a couple of exceptions, we were getting wins and draws by being hard to beat and nicking the odd goal. But more recently, we’ve been hammered by injuries and unavailability at the back. The clean sheets have dried up and our forwards simply aren’t capable of making up for that.

It's not just the forwards, the midfield don't score goals and where is the defenders chipping in, like from corners.

If we are to sack Alexander I do hope it isn't Sparks who dismisses him, without proper advice he isn't the guy to recruit the next manager. I think we all want a new owner and CEO but Rupp isn't going anywhere until someone meets his asking price, an asking price that is far too high at the moment and hopefully someone can persuade him to lower it being that we do not own our ground or training facilitates. Ironically the best person to talk some sense into Stefan Rupp regarding the asking price is probably Gordon Gibb, I wonder if anyone has thought of approaching him and asking him to do that.
On the subject of Gordon Gibb, both ourselves and L***s Utd have Flamingo Land on our shirts and whereas we probably do it to keep our ground rent down that lot over at Bellend Road get get a lot of money pumped into the club paying for the running of their Academy amongst other things.
What surprises about Rupp is that although he admits he isn't a football man he is a very successful and apparently quite ruthless businessman so given our results before, (during) and after his visit you would think he would be looking at Sparks's position and see through the crap he is giving him.

    Fair point.

It’s been a massive issue for the last 3 or 4 years as well.
Just had a quick look and our 2nd top scorers in the last 4 seasons (including the current one ) have scored
    5 goals, 6 goals,8 goals and 6 goals.
No way are you finishing in the top 3 with those figures, unless it’s 5 or 6 players who are chipping in with 6 or 7 goals each.
We normally get 1 or 2 with those sort of number.

Cook has to do all the heavy lifting and yet still gets torn to pieces while his blank firing teammates get away scot free.
I was convinced that Pattison was the player that could chip in with double figures but unfortunately he has been unavailable for most of the season.
What’s really sad is that his 2 goals in 9 games is still 2 more than Smallwoods 0 in 34 games.
Not a specific pop at Smallwood and Gilliead but they have 3 goals between them this season.
These are 2 of our regular starting midfielders over the last 2 seasons and neither have looked anywhere near scoring the amount of goals that they should.
What’s even sadder is that this issue has been flagged up on numerous occasions by numerous posters over the last 2 or 3 years.

Cook needs help and he’s getting absolutely none from his teammates.

If they have recovered from their respective surgeries enough to do the preseason training we will be literally signing two new attacking players in Alex Pattison and Jake Young. Pattinson (and us) has been very unfortunate injury wise this season, in his two seasons at Harrogate he made 47 and 39 appearances, scoring 19 goals from midfield. I will admit the rest of the squad needs a big overhaul.

We have been unlucky with injuries Luke Young would surely have chipped in with a few goals.

Our midfield is really p poor, full of crocks , bottlers, and most couldn't hit a cows backside with a banjo.

That's a fair point and Alex Pattison did look impressive in the early part of the season. Jake Young, I'm hoping, will be an important player for us.

    There have been positives recently.

We've literally gone from being optimistic on a playoff push to wanting the manager out in the space of just over a week.

In that week we've lost players to injuries, internationals etc. And I don't want to make excuses, but the pitch must be difficult to run on if not play on.

Forest Green game on another day we win that easily. Mansfield an anomaly and Notts was probably a hangover from Mansfield.

None of this is defending the owner and sparks. JUST purely football. There are potential positives for next season. Give GA a pre season and sort the wheat from the chaff. At least give him the chance.

As it is now, he is making odd decisions, but it's not his squad.
