Maybe they are trying to work out a way to bypass the system to allow the favourites to guarantee their tickets before putting them on sale

Good luck if you want to buy tickets for someone under 13 for Salford or if you want to sit down. Loyalty points appear to be under the trade secrets act these days as they aren't visible to check if you can actually buy tickets.

There is going to be plenty of headaches over buying tickets together on this....

Do they actually do any testing before going live with stuff?

 

No seating tickets at all.

My daughter is managed by my account yet I can only select 1 ticket to purchase.

I'm not going anyhow but I was interested to see this shitshow first hand.

How many people have worked out you have to select each ticket one by one, assign it and go back and add another rather than just selecting 2 or 3 and simply assigning them on the next page.

In our CEO we trust.

 

Seems to let me pick a ticket and progress but didn’t think I would have enough points. If I do then everyone must have as I haven’t been to any away games or cup games

 

Just tried to purchase for Salford using another account which wouldn't normally have the required loyalty points and getting this message:



Which would suggest loyalty points are active for these games.

 

Why the state secret regarding how many you have?

 

I have setup a brand new account for my other daughter. She doesn't have a season ticket and she has no loyalty points. I can get through to the checkout with a Grimsby Town ticket the basket. I can't do the same for Salford for her because no tickets are actually available online in her actual age bracket as the Under 13s tickets are not listed but it seems loyalty points are completely optional at this stage.

I mean what can you say.

 

The 13 and under category (and under 5’s) isn’t showing.
So tried to get my daughter a 14-17 ticket (figured the £4 extra is better than an hour round trip to the ticket office inc fuel) and it won’t let me because it’s not her age category.

That error is showing because it is unassigned as can be seen in the screenshot. Nothing to do with loyalty points as I have setup a brand new account and got all the way to the checkout. If people wanted too they could sell out tickets today as all and sundry can buy them. Thankfully our form means that those that want to go will get tickets as demand won't be there.

If we were riding high in the league today's ticket sales would be an absolute shambles with people with loyalty points not getting tickets due to the incompetence of the club.

Looks like they have forgotten to activate the points for the Grimsby match if you log into your account.

If I log into my account it will let me buy any number of tickets but if I try to assign them to someone else it tells me they haven't got enough points.

Salford match doesn't show any tickets available for me so either they have sold out, which proobably not, or the points system is working for it

 

Has anyone managed to find out from the ticket office if loyalty points are going to be shown & when?

 

It's not the fault of the ticket office, they had been handed a new system to roll out and they will have plenty on their plate with people asking them direct for answers when they have little experience of it themselves.

It seems after a few hours things have changed now and all tickets are available online and there appears to be mention of 2100+ points being required. Surely all the queries the ticket office are having have no doubt been relayed to ticketmaster for answers, at the top of the list, how do I see my loyalty points so I'm going to cut the ticket office some slack as this isn't really anything to do with them, they are just the first contact when things go wrong.

 

Walsall tickets now also on sale to people with 2100+ points.
