Graham Alexander should be sacked

We know the answer. Not very many. Alexander wasn’t eleven on Sparks’ radar. He got sacked as we happened to be scrabbling around for a manager as anyone with any credibility had already turned us down. Sparks lied when talking about Alexander’s appointment and that’s not the first time our CEO has bent the truth.
He thinks he’s clever - when the shit starts to hit the fan he gives the fans Wright back on loan or he brings back Dion. He announces Jamie Walker signing a contract extension at the end of season awards to try and keep us sweet. He’s a worm. Everything he does and says is about what a great job he’s doing under terrible circumstances and that he’s under all kinds of restraints. He’s a con artist and he’s not interested in anything but self preservation.
For me his 3 years of leadership have done years and years of damage and it’s unforgivable.

 

It's certainly a frustrating time to be a Bradford City supporter young or old absolutely no good news stories coming out of the club whatsoever just negativity day after day fuelled by consistent bad management decisions from the powers that be.
Mentally the fanbase is shot at the least said about that the better. I've witnessed enough verbal altercations between supporters of our club this season, in fact more than any other since I started following City in the late seventies a very sad but true reflection of how attitudes can change when the success you crave as a supporter is no longer in front of your eyes.

 

And this is another area where those at the top are badly failing our beloved club. They think the current noise from supporters is just that and no action will follow. Well.......they are in for one hell of a surprise when they see the uptake in 24/25 season ticket sales. Just get real SR and RS and see/realise the downward spiral you are taking us on. What manager has a realistic chance of achieving under the current leadership - not one

 

It's easy to sit in hindsight and say sack him. It's the easiest choice to make. We can't change the CEO or The owner, but we can make sure they know we're not happy with the manager.

But what does it change? Nothing.

I know people probably dislike GA's tactics and yep he was sacked at MK. But he did a good job at Salford and just before Christmas as well as not too distant past he did a good job here.

This last week something has gone sadly wrong somewhere. Makes me wonder if he gave them a proper rollocking after the FGR game and the players have taken umbridge? There's no fight in the squad. It's weak to the core and it needs fixing.

Anyway like i said I don't know if GA could or couldn't get us firing. But surely we have to at least give him a chance.

For what it's worth I wasn't keen on sacking Hughes neither. Sacking managers frequently never works.

 

I seem to remember when rack and ruin first took over it was said they wanted continuity and didn't want to chop and change but exactly the opposite has happened starting when parky smelt a rat and jumped ship. Several managers later ( some with highly regarded cvs )have been and failed some at the " request " of the fans who all want success but have very short patience Sooner or later a manager must be given time to mould a squad and try to succeed ala parky or nigel clough. This managerial merry go round doesn't work unless you're like Chelsea with millions thrown at it. I'm afraid with the impatience of some fans this will be how we "sleepwalk" into obscurity . Alexander might not be that man but WHO would be able to mould this shite into a promotion team? Change must start at the very top

 

Obviously we have no idea what's been said behind closed doors whilst Rupp was paying his crumbling empire a visit last week.
Wouldn't surprise me if meetings took place away from the ground to avoid our local sleuths from getting an exclusive.
Graham Alexander and Chris Lucketti will know the score.
They could both be on borrowed time for all we know the dreaded managerial vote of confidence hasn't been released to the media yet.

 

I'm surprised to see the mood on here so despondent, after all you won the league at the Racecourse when you beat us didn't you?
Its funny because Tranmere also won the league on Saturday too and celebrated accordingly.

The things you learn eh? As it turns out I have been looking at the wrong league table all along. DOH! You and Tranmere finished joint top of the Hollywood cup final league and Notts County won the possession title just after Christmas.

Looks like you've won the attendance cup too.

Enjoy the good times @Wxm80 we did whilst flirting with the Premier League, not that you'll every know what that feels like, we've seen both ends of the spectrum fortunately not falling to the depth you enjoyed as a BIG club in non league, I remember distinctly some of your fans with buckets begging for our financial support back in the day, at times you need a little humanity when trying to take the piss out of fellow football fans.
Good luck with your promotion as I pointed out to a fellow Wrexham fan when he was questioning if Phil Parkinson was good enough to get you promoted, he'll take you up and possibly get you to the Championship with your financial backers that's when questions may be asked.
