I couldn't tell you Mr Tart but a more truthful interview tonight and I would probably be still on side, instead we get bull. These players are not good enough and I hope the manager sees it that way but who can tell with awful interviews where he's watching a different game to many fans.

If anyone was in any doubt about the role of good leadership at a football ball club then last night shone a massive spotlight on just how much it means.

We as a group of fans are now witnessing the downward spiral of our once fantastic club. From our CEO down to manager and captain. All in a position of leadership but unable to lead.

We have a very poor squad with barely 11 players who can get a result on the pitch. Watching last night performance it is now evident that GA has no idea what to do and keeps trying to reinvent the wheel. If Ryan Sparks is the answer then I have no idea what the question is. Make no mistake about it we are in a terrible place.

Rupp is not a leader either, we are completely rudderless. However leader or not if he wants to see any of his money returned he has two options sell the club or invest more money. We are talking millions here enough to end contract of players, manager and recruitment and not to mention CEO. That is the kind of ruthless surgery needed to get our club back on track.

I bet GA deep down is dying to say more but a lot of these may be part of his squad next due to our piss poor recruitment.

If folk want him gone then so be it but the root of all these issues remains and until that is finally dealt with then we are going knowhere :(

How fooking hearbreaking things have become :( Luton in the Premier league .......Coventry in an FA cup semi final and in the championship...........both clubs way behind us before these loons made a sham of it

    Oh @wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler understands alright.

So, basically when Sparks and whoever were complaining about Edin he wanting to do something to address the situation but now will do nothing because it doesn’t suit his agenda! He is all for the suits! Forgotten what it’s like to be a fan!

He talked about the club going under if we finish in the NL but what he fails to talk about is Ryan Sparks is killing this club and fans want him out!!

Care about the club FFS! If you want season ticket sales to improve or fans mood then Sparks needs to resign or Rupp needs to sell. Something needs to happen and quickly. Club is a mess!

    Great post.

Exactly how I feel this morning. It's telling that long time supporters on here all have the same views and I've seen similar posts on various social media sites from the likes of David Pendleton and Mark Neale.

Derek Adams was right about the state of the club. Funny that our CEO reacted like a petulant child as a response. Hes an arrogant, out of depth charlatan. Hopefully he resigns this morning.

We are seeing the slow death of this club happening before our eyes.
I've felt from the off that GA was totally the wrong appointment and wouldnt shed any tears if he was to go, but totally agree there would be no point in any managerial change without drastic changes above.

We're back to the "sack the manager" idea again.

GA may or may not be the answer. But one thing is true, and that is these aren't his players and the squad is bloated. STILL.

Why would you sack a manager who had 1 transfer window while inheriting a squad of players who clearly aren't good enough (not all, but mostly). In that 1 transfer window his main job, beit his or those above's idea was to cut the squad.

Give him till this time next season, that's a pre season and another winter window. Get the players he wants in and the ones he doesn't out.

THEN we can think about it. How many managers have we had in the last 5/6 years? It doesn't work just sacking and replacing.

Agree - he sounded border line broken in his interview and thereve been some bizarre team selections and tactics, not sure what’s going on on the training ground because that’s twice in four days we’ve conceded to a free header at the back post.
But, under this regime I don’t trust them to get even small decisions right let alone managerial appointments.
The change needs to start higher up, desperately

Persisting with playing 6 defensive minded players at home to the likes of FGR and Notts Co is almost a sacking offence in itself.

However, I wouldn't trust Sparks to appoint next manager, so until Sparks has gone, no point in sacking GA at the moment

Maybe so, but there are other questions around this.

We don't know what the discussions with the team are behind closed doors. So the team he picks fitting players in maybe necessity over choice.

He might not be playing Pointon because he doesn't fancy it himself/moving/A.N Other

I think GA still has credit in the bank. He likely already knows this season is done so we will probably see variations to team selections and formations while he decides who to keep and who to bin off.

That's just my view. Overarching is that we shouldn't sack him, we would be back to square one.

I thought Hughes was a great appointment, in hindsight we should have stuck with him for longer.
GA's team selections and tactics are simply baffling. We know there are major issues higher up but does anyone really think that this club will get promoted with GA as manager, it's not going to happen. Giving him another season to pick his own player's is another season gone.
