Doubt we pay that much. Average L2 manager salary in 2020 from a leak was £80K a year. Prices will have gone up since but not that much, and he was just off a sacking. Wouldn't be surprised if he was on or around the £100k mark.

Perhaps Pointon just isn't good enough and people are grasping at straws ? Just saying like, but remember Danny Forrest, Kevin Sanasy, Joe Brown, David Brown, all had a few half decent games and disappeared.

I've seen nothing in Pointon to suggest he's the next messiah.

 

It's going to be an interesting post match interview.
