Graham Alexander should be sacked

I was in the lift a couple of weeks ago and a guy got in who I knew from years ago we exchanged a few words and as I was getting out another guy who had come up in the life said that was Pointons dad, shame I wasn't aware at the time.
I posted on here it was rumoured he was going in the closed season but thought that was because we'd had an offer.
Strange he comes over at a very committed Bradford City player bing for Bradford and sitting ij the kop with his mates, its a shame the lads certainly got ability.

 

Maybe the said interest is still there and the lad is on his way.
Its a real shame the club is in its current predicament, Skint. It would have been nice to actually see some of this young talent progress and become mainstays of the squad, rather than sell before they can grow a proper beard.

 

As I recall plenty did. I was on the Board then and remember well the bile directed against PP, probably worse than now.

 

I know when we played Liverpool in the BSM Trophy all their scouts were there. The Yorkshire / North East guy spoke very highly of him.

 

Great idea but most are still contracted. Needs a big cheque book to pay them off.

I'm wondering if the team he put out on Saturday was meant to emphasize to Rupp just how poor we really are

 

The thing is, by not tying the lad down, we are going to lose him for a development fee, which is just madness, especially as we could do with the money.
Unless we have an option to extend in his contract.

 

Bradford City have 12 months option written into his existing contract, Ryan Sparks will not talk or consider Alternatives until the end of season.( Believe he’s stated this on a number of occasions) and not just for Pointon.

 

Well that is good to know. It gives us a little room to negotiate when he leaves in the summer.
He is not going to get game time here, can not even make the bench . especially as someone like Odour starts ahead of him.

 

there’s every chance Colin Doyle would play in his positions before Alexander would choose Pointon to play. ( Fair chance he would play himself ).

 

Maybe i could get a start, not played for 30 years though and 60 years old.

Lost almost 3 stone over the past 15 months and back to my weight at 21, just can not move as fast as then, but still quicker than Ash Taylor, Stubbs and probably a couple more.

I wish, just got kicked about on muddy council park pitches.
The weight loss was a health thing, probably would not have done it otherwise.
Healthy diet and exercise. Really helped the wife is a nurse and really keen on this sort of thing.

 

Prior to that run of form, Parky had got us promoted and to a major cup final. Alexander has done nothing but come in and further deteriorate the style of play and oversee our worst home defeat in years. I am amazed people are putting faith in this guy who has shown absolutely nothing to suggest he's a good manager either for us or anyone else.
