Graham Alexander should be sacked

With nine games to go I see very little point in ousting Alexander in fact what would it achieve in all honesty we know promotion through the play off lottery, although mathematically possible is all but over for another season.
The squad needs a complete overhaul but the ridiculous length of some of the present players contracts could and will prove problematic in the summer.

Size of squad is down to recruitment team which is what gent is paid for.

Keep blaming MH we've had 26 league games since he was sacked.

 

It's it me or am I just completely insane?

The amount of times people have mentioned the Wycombe game as a reason to drop Cook but I'm sure I was there and I'm also sure we lost the game and probably wouldn't have scored if we'd have still been playing now.

Surely all the people that are struggling with the basics of football would at least point to a game we actually won without Cook?

 

I have to say Bobby not even getting on the bench is a strange situation, I'm not suggesting a start every game but in all honesty could he be any worse than some we've seen when the going gets tough.

 

Always gives me bad vibes when we play to the kop first half, it used to be an advantage with the kop roaring us on second half, unfortunately those days are rare now adays, maybe when the choir get together it might improve.

However direction to play 3-5-2 after they had recruited for 4-2-3-1 came from Hughes.
That meant we finished with far too big a squad of players not suited to a more direct style. That’s on Sparkes. it’s disjointed. No obvious continuity. Alexander inherited that and needs to clear out. He isn’t responsible for that. But he has made some strange decisions.

The malaise comes from above and has been going on far longer. We need to deal with the root problem. That’s not Alexander.

 

I bet the same people who want Alexander sacked wanted Parkinson sacked after his first season when we finished 18th in league two.

 

Who ever wins the toss chooses which way to play not whether to kickoff or not. I was a referee.

 

Plus our fans wouldn’t tolerate his passing style of football like when Hughes played it. Also passing out from the back would be difficult on our pitch.

 

Might be different here but where I ref it is a choice, do you want the kick or choose which way to go.

I am wrong. They have changed the laws back in 2019/20 to what it used to be.

 

Do not shoot the messenger , talking to a guy coming away on Saturday, i know him but not overly well. He said he knew Bobby Pointons dad, apparently he wanted to leave last summer, but the club vetoed it, definitely wants out now and is currently earning £300per week.
If true it could explain his absence .

 

Was it also a run of 1 win in 21 in league 1 until we bear Port vale in a Tuesday night game.
We stuck by him, we need to stick with Alexander and let him mould the squad to his style.

 

Yet we hear Pointon was a very good boxer, so you would think Bobby would enjoy the physical stuff.
