Of course used wisely the more money you have the better your chances. However using whatever resources you do have to its limit maybe with a smaller squad and a tighter group success can be achieved which we did at times in the Parky era

 

What we achieved with PP and those group of players was unique, unprecedented and will NEVER happen again not just for us but for any other league 2 club.
That era can simply not be compared.

 

I doubt the current set up knows how to spend the money wisely. The evidence is there for all to see. Mid table mediocrity with a top 5 budget.

ive stopped going I don't have the spare time to sit bored/frustrated on a Saturday given I'm not especially local anymore. watched a few matches on I player. The dismal home form could finish this club off.

The masses not renewing is a risky game and could mean an even worse team. For all his faults I don't think Rupp has his hand in the till and is making off with the Crown Jewels.

 

I can't believe people on here are still defending this dismal ownership, fecking sickening that you lot will happily give your money to two clowns who are running our club into the ground. Wanting better for the club doesn't make you any less of a supporter despite your happy clapping bs, and the majority are now seeing the damage rupp and sparks are doing to the long term future of Bradford city

 

We are funding the club not the owner !!! If we don’t fund the club we go bust and end up in non league. It’s a dangerous game some people want to play.

BTW some have said not renewing may put the club at risk but if you want a new owner then getting the club into administration and then been sold to a new owner is one way of removing Rupp

 

I can tell you now that Rupp won’t purchase Valley Parade. There isn’t a chance of that happening.

 

And you can’t blame Gent for that signing that was 100% Hughes !!

 

The ground is putting off new owners, The ground is on lease so any new owner is committed to legally taking on that lease which at present is a debt on the club of around £10 million
+ on top of funding the running of the club

 

“Looking in to it” and actually doing it are very different things.

Rupp suddenly goes from Mr Invisible who’s been to 3 or 4 games this season, who doesn’t seem to want to engage with fans,hasn’t taken delivery of a load of fans letters questioning his ownership to telling an irate fan lots of his financial dealings regarding player budget,ground acquisition etc.

As someone put yesterday-Hmmmm.

 

If rupp is indeed ready to invest in the infrastructure then that's a good thing, but actions speak far louder than words we've all heard before. And in terms of sparks and the commercial side, I feel the credit he gets takes away from the people actually dealing with the commercial side, Davide longo and his team are more likely to be responsible for that. An inexperienced CEO and no plan are what are crippling is alongside the disinterested owner.
