You have a good point. If hypothetically the club came out with a statement saying that they were buying the ground and a piece of land to build our own training facilities on, even if financed by business loans, fans would be more willing to renew. In fact I bet they’d even put up with league 2 for a few seasons longer if they saw genuine improvement and progression. The fans want hope and a future, we currently have non.

 

Measured, but ultimately the main point is Rupp has tanked this club and his lack of interest is completely unacceptable.

No ifs, buts or maybes, if he has no fight or desire to run a football club, GET OUT.

Agree. But Parky had to get time to get a tune out of them. Alexander needs next season to come badly and reform of the team. Unless we change manager again. Which would say we chose the wrong man for the job again. Either way those above are culpable. But especially for the last 8 years of regression.

 

That doesn’t detract from Clough being bankrolled for several seasons . If I’m not mistaken , the biggest spenders in the last 4-5 seasons? I’d love to see the figures.

Every team has off days. Tranmere was one of them, but we did enough for at least a draw in that game.
