I haven't any posters on ignore at the moment mate, although I do find it hard to comprehend how a successful businessman like himself has little to offer apart from repeating his usual bluster and calling fellow fans out there really isn't any need, by all means have an opinion and be prepared to debate it.
I didn't think there was any reason to cover what i'd originally posted, only opening the lower tiers of each stand just does not make sense, don't they think the football we're having to witness game after game (especially at Valley Parade) is enough without the club dictating where fans can sit to watch it.
They would lose thousands each home game unless they offered a picnic basket and a couple of cans of ale to eat whilst watching the game in the lower tier of the main stand

What are you on about? I’m not a businessman, I’m an employee.
The suites in the main stand are available to lower tier occupants so they’d still be in use. Granted I understand you wouldn’t be able to get down the stairs so you are an isolated case.
Why do you think they don’t open the upper tiers for cup games? Because demand doesn’t justify it and that could be the same for league games next season.
Nothing I suggested was ‘daft’ it’s just you don’t like it because it affects your home comforts.

To increase season tickets by £50, and then produce that performance on that shameful embarrassment of a mud bath is the most Bradford City thing I have ever witnessed.

Well done again Ryan and Stefan

No , you were pissing and moaning about my suggestion of closing the upper tiers if season ticket renewals are low and I was asking you why it was such a bad suggestion and your only comeback was that you don’t want to leave your comfy suite to walk down the stairs.

I don’t know how old you are but as you grow older your joints start to deteriorate as a result there is lots of pain to endure. What are you saying that seniors should just put up with the pain? Or should they try and find a more comfortable seat with access to lifts?

You want VP to be full and singing like it used to be yes? News Alert we all do!!! I am actually embarrassed that they are trying to manufacture a noise section of whatever they are calling it. News Alert for Ryan, improve this club and the noise level will take care of it self. Trying to herd all the noisy fans into the kop of elsewhere is cringe worthy. I have stood on that kop for years and we didn’t need someone to bang a drum in fact the noise level would have drowned out the drum.

This isn’t a vendetta against seniors, I’m simply pointing out that opening the upper tiers wouldn’t be cost effective to accommodate a few hundred people.
Where did the seniors sit before the upper tiers were built?
Where do the seniors sit for cup games when they aren’t open?

The most Bradford City thing I've ever witnessed repeats itself time and time again. Losing at home to a club heading for relegation quicker than Linford Christie.

The most common noise in there now is inane chatter about anything non football related, due to boredom. It's like going to the Alhambra and watching the worst performance possible, where no-one is interested and they can't wait for the show to finish.

I can hazard a guess if they have felt the pain in my right knee……at home listening to it on the radio. We went to the Middlesbrough league cup game at the beginning of the season. I can tell you my husband was crippled and in agony for a week or more. He now refuses to go, due to the discomfort of cramming his 6’1” frame into those seats. It is only in the last 5 years or so we have had problems. We are probably not renewing due to the situation at our club, but if they decide to shut the upper main stand down it’s an odds on certainty we won’t.

As sad as it is that people do get old and immobile, the club can’t just open and steward a 5000 seat stand for a few hundred people

With regards to the closure of upper tiers issue
There isn’t a winning formula here

Yes there maybe capacity to hold ST renewals in the lower tiers but,

Turfing fans from their seats they have occupied for years won’t go down well. For a one off event like cup games is fine as not included in your ticket

Then there is the problem of availability for those fans to find a seat of their choice in the lower tiers and I would guess there would be limited availability

I also see the dynamics of the closures as staffing , catering those areas for small number of fans

The only winning formula is when what we see on the pitch improves

Spectators with Mobility Issues (Ambulant Disabled)

The same provisions as those specified to spectators in wheelchairs will apply to ambulant disabled spectators.

An area in the lower Morrisons Family Stand which is uncovered and elevated

-An area in The Bradford Lifts Stand which is partially covered and at pitch level

-An area in The Kop (Bantams Bar) which is covered, elevated and offers additional access to a licensed bar area

-Two areas in the Kop (Blocks A and F) which are covered and elevated

-An area in the North West Corner which is covered and elevated

-An area in the TL Dallas Stand which is covered and at pitch level - this is the area designated for away supporters.

Lifts are installed on three sides of the stadium to assist wheelchair users to gain access to appropriate stands within the stadium.

A ramped access to the TL Dallas Stand is available.

So lots of options seem to be available in a variety of locations, which could be of assistance. I am significantly taller than 6’1” and manage in the Lower Main Stand. I do accept that some may well find it more difficult/uncomfortable.
If leg room is an issue, then talk to Shaneque Rowe
dlo@bradfordcityafc.com or alternatively directly to the club via support@bradfordcityafc.com or by telephone on 01274 773355, where staff will be pleased to discuss how appropriate provisions might be made available.

Genuine question to those in upper tiers, what is the actual reason you enjoy sitting there?

I have spent quite a few games sat in the upper tiers of the kop and main stand, mainly cos that is where our friends sat, but I really did not like it, and have been in the MR stand for about 10 years now. You are so far away from the action, with only a few other fans dotted around you

Each to their own I know, and I respect that, but it wasn't for me

Maybe if you email him back and tell him your lad has 3 feet or identifies as a cardboard box or something like that then you will get an instant reply! :)
