Couldn't watch last night due to a work commitment. Sounds like I got off lightly.

    Season done.

Good luck shifting the Season Tickets Ryan.

Long ago, about 15 years or so, I was sitting in the pub with some mates before a Tuesday night game discussing our prospects for the match. We'd won the previous Saturday. We were not optimistic because one of our number had done some research. He'd noticed that we hardly ever seemed to win on Tuesday if we'd won on Saturday so he'd looked back at the results for about 30 years and, sure enough, he was right. If I remember rightly, the percentage was somewhere between 10% and 20%. And we lost that night, of course.
So it's nothing new, though I've absolutely no idea why it should be. Perhaps it's the Curse of the Holy Well.

I really can't understand the outrage disappointment etc on here especially from some of the old brigade (myself included)
last night's result at home to a bottom 2 club is nothing new/ shock we have done this for years, a few on here actually expected last night's debacle it's the way we roll
Going back in time we just accepted it turned up at the next match and actually enjoyed the match day experience
It's very different for me now the club has and are sticking to the brief don't go down and don't lose money no mention of what goes on on the pitch no mention of how we are going for at least top 7 next season (next season never comes by the way) and how we achieve it
Mumblings about not accepting mediocrity have stopped because we are mediocre, ambition less, and happy to plod along in the khazi league that's the difference
Once enough revenue has been raised to fund the following season to whatever degree it's effectively season over aim achieved
Starve them of this and we may change things who knows something has to be done one things for sure I ain't contributing to what is effectively a book balancing exercise in effect an existence

Mate , you keep saying this along with many others and I’m certain 99% of the fanbase aren’t happy with league 2 football including myself but ask yourself if you are willing to see the club have a stint in the NL and potentially leaving VP to see your objective realised in ousting Rupp?
And for anyone thinking we are ‘too big’ to drop into the NL then please pull your head out of the sand and let it sink in that Scunthorpe finished above us in league 1 when we lost to Millwall. It can happen and will happen if crowd numbers drop.

Just watched the replay of the penalty. Walker wasn't exactly busting a gut to get back and help

Pretty awful night. Pretty awful season. Pretty awful pitch. It’s hard not to be completely fed up this morning.
Wouldn't be totally unlike City to win on Saturday, but same would be following up with another awful display and defeat on Tuesday.
Although I will renew, I don’t expect much better next season.
    Now, where’s my anti depressants?

Am a lot happier to see us having a stint in L1
Having a chairman/ceo with the ambition to get us there
It ain't happening with these 2 in charge neither is a stint in NL
    It's stalemate all round
Welcome your thoughts on how other than hoping we stumble across Parky MK2 we are going to progress

When fans renewed their ST’s at the end of the 2012 season after we’d sacked Jacko, appointed PP and narrowly avoided relegation to non league, did they expect what the following season would bring? I doubt it. We got lucky and that’s exactly what we need next season. Luck!!!

'We can almost smell it and then it just gets taken away from us'.
GA said this to Parker. What a shocking take. Pleading sympathy is never a good look and a 'poor us' mentality will see us exactly where we deserve to be. Which won't be in the top 7.

This plus a good strong work rate/ethic (of which most of our opponents appear to have in abundance) and a productive hard working midfield duo ..

Best thing was the season ticket drive advertisement appearing on the board at half time and making it out like there's actually been some enjoyable moments in the last 4 years.

In truth it's been pretty grim and they did well to cut out enough highlights to fill the 80 seconds although pretending Gilleads goal in the dour draw against Grimsby probably helps.

Scunthorpe are where they are as they spent stupid money making massive losses to get to where they were in League 1 then once that funding was pulled they had a very low budget. You could see their collapse coming a mile off and it's nothing like the situation we are in, their peak attendances were less than 6,500 in the Championship which dropped to less than 4,500 in League 1. I don't think anything thinks we are too big to be relegated

Why did we keep pumping high balls all the game when it was obvious it did not work? Cook one won header I think and it went to their player?

I've just seen the 'attendance' for last night was 15,480 with 85 away fans. Taking off the away fans that means we sold less than 350 home tickets which will include hospitality & sponsors. Our previous lowest was 16,200 against MK last month. I think the lowest 'home attendance' on a Saturday was 16,200 against Accrington so it will be interesting to see how Saturday compares to that.

Mansfield will bump up the crowd no doubt. They always travel well, particularly when flying high

Mansfield supporters will attend in numbers on Saturday but unfortunately the trend of Bradford stay aways will continue.
I've never known the apathy be this bad.
Life long supporters are no longer quite in their views.
The product on offer next season is League Two football again with Away followings that hardly raise the attendance figure, add what I expect to be a poor season ticket take up by home fans and you will be lucky to reach 10,000 inside Valley Parade on a regular basis and that's been optermistic.

Totally agree, when I said home attendance I meant the attendance one you take out the away fan. Looking on their website it looks like they've sold over 2400 so if they sell another 100 then we'd need an overall attendance of more than 18,700 to avoid it being the lowest Saturday attendance of home fans. After last night it could be possible unless they sell a lot of hospitality and sponsorship spaces as currently tickets haven't been put on the website for whatever reason.
