Well, I do think there should have been a message early on not to loft the ball at Andy Cook. Wright and Odour to run at them, get the ball in the box. Andy Cook to look to spin his defender and not worry about holding (or attempting) to hold the ball up.

Easy for me to say quaffing beers, but it looked pretty obvious that the high ball was ineffective.

 

Only the second time I've ever predicted a City defeat and Ii still can't get it right. The first time was the Accrington game. My optimism has gone. I'm done. I will not be following another season in League 2.

I’m struggling to think of anything positive. Tompkinson maybe. I think he’s improved a lot. I commend GA on going for broke, but he can only bring on players who are pretty much like for like. Kavanagh doesn’t seem to have any tactical awareness. Smith is a 1 in 10 goal striker. Chapman showboats but often plays the wrong balls. I’d have brought on Wilson (if he was on the bench) because he looks like a totally chaotic player who might have got us a penalty.

FGR looked decent. Full of running, stuff have scored at least two more.
