    He mentioned about our pitch being flat so presume the issue with Walsall's pitch was bobblely and uneven which isn't surprising as their match was subject to a 11:30am pitch inspection ahead of the game on Saturday due to the rain

    I think Tues is a bad time to play FGR. They are fighting for their lives. April 23rd will be a better date when either they are safe or already relegated.

    The rain is forecast to stop tonight and be dry tomorrow so hopefully enough time for the pitch to drain and the groundstaff to be able to get the pitch as dry as possible ahead of some rain forecast on Tuesday.

    Richie Smallwood has come out and blasted the pitch as being the worst in the EFL and its not good enough having to play on it every week.

    Well done Richie for not holding back. Its time someone came out and said it.

    It's not good enough for Sunday league football.

    Does Rupp care?, probably not

    To be fair to him its far from ideal but it didn't stop our best performance for some time v Wycombe, a lot of it appears to be about mindset
